I loved meeting the people that lived and worked there. I thought the show was so so for a Polynesian show, but the food definitely needs some major work.

This was the absolute worst experience we have ever had on our travels. The food was nasty, the performances seemed like a middle-school production, and don't expect to eat right when you get there - we were starving by the time we could eat. A total waste of money!

Dear Sir, madam, I'm sorry you were starving when you arrived at the village, I don't how you had your information before purchasing the ticket, but it's written everywhere that you have animations BEFORE the dinner, dinner begins at 7:30, which is not that late in my opinion.. For the rest maybe being hungry made you angry ;) More

I thought it was really overpriced for what we got . it was $110 per person and I don't think it lived up to a $200 evening for my wife and I . The " Tahitian village " is just a staged few lean-two's with " Tahitian scenes " . I had been to the ' Polynesian cultural center '... More

We heard about "a great Tahitian" luau, but apparently this wasn't it. The "village" was a larger performance amphitheater and cluster of shacks which held a few mannequins in traditional costume, but most were "retail opportunities" to buy t-shirts, pearls and handicrafts. There were also pareos, the cloth wrap worn there by both men and women. The buffet was really... More

The tour and the food before the show were fine, but the show itself was really spectacular. You can tell the performers really take pride in their culture and are dedicated to preserving it. The dancing they did with the fire was particularly impressive, and all of the performers and staff were so warm and friendly. It was a very... More

We stopped here on a Cruise Ship Excursion. The staff was fantastic to us. We all had a cool beverage, which was appreciated on a hot day. The staff was in traditional Polynesian clothing. Walking through the property you got a nice idea of Polynesian life. Unfortunately we did not get to see the show, but the next time we... More

Tiki village is a must do in Moorea!!! It was my first touch with the culture and the Tahitian dances and definitely fell in love with these people! This place transferred me to a different world. It happened from the same beginning while waiting the show to begin. The lagoon there is so beautiful and tranquil at sunset. It looked... More

You should, at the very least, see the show. It was very well done and it was nice that they had explained to the audience before about all of the instruments and costumes that we would be seeing in the show. The crew actually sing very well, the dancing is well choreographed, and the fire dancing in particular was exciting.... More

The center offers a glimpse of historic Tahitian culture via the Polynesian crafts, lei making, carvings, basket weaving, coconut opening demo, etc. by locals. We did not eat here, just a stop on our afternoon tour of the island, it was interesting to a point. We did not eat here so can not speak to the food or did we... More

We saw a creation play followed by traditional dancing. The fire dancing was really exciting. Food including fire roasted whole piglets was OK.
