This review is dated but wanted to get it in anyway! The helmet dive is a must-do, especially if you're not a strong swimmer! I was apprehensive booking this since my wife isn't a strong swimmer (and so couldn't snorkel much) but loves sealife and wanted to go with this at any rate. The entire experience - from pick-up to... More

I am terrified of being submerged in the ocean, I cannot swim but I love looking at life under the sea. I was afraid at first but as soon as I got the helmet on it was easy and fantastic. The guys who do the dive are so nice and really help make you feel secure and confident. The reef... More

If you enjoy snorkling and haven't experienced diving this is the excursion of your life! Vincent provided the best helmet dive with professionalism being top notch! I notified AqualBlue by email from the states and was promptly picked up in Moorea at the provided date and time at the pier. He made me feel at ease walking among rays, fish... More

My husband and I are snorkelers and this experience was something we wanted to try out. Vincent and the crew were very intentional to make sure we all understood the directions and how the "dive" would take place so that we felt very safe. It was fun and there were LOTS of fish and rays although I don't think I... More

This was the first excursion that we participated on whilst at Moorea, Tahiti. My wife was concerned about the weight of the helmet and being underwater if anything went wrong, this couldn't have been further from the truth. There were no concerns at all and the staff provided us with a great mornings event. The weather was perfect, water clear... More

My wife and I enjoyed the adventure on Moorea. The guides were very friendly and the cost was within range of most acitivities within that region. Although we had a fantastic trip as the waters wer calm even though the weather was not very good for other activities, we did feel at times that the guides were more interested in... More

It's been about 30 years since I last had a SCUBA dive, and initially was curious if the "Helmet Dive" would be anything similar. It was amazing - because of the depth from 12 to 15 feet, the colours were still vivid, while on a tank dive to considerably deeper water, colours are lost. I enjoyed feeding fish, gently stroking... I love to do this and have been twice on Bora Bora and twice in Moorea. It is so great to be so close to the beautiful sting rays, and Titan Trigger fish, and Giant eels, to look into their eyes and they look into yours. I took many great pictures and it is magical. Don't miss it!!!

My husband is not a fan of water sports. He is not the best swimmer. He found aqua blue - diving helmets. What a wonderful adventure. Price per person 7500 XPF. Trip worth every franc. The boat picked up a total of eight people and two stuff people. Our guides were very professionally, very nice, very experienced. Before we went... More
