When booking our cruise on the Paul Gaugin, we immediately wanted to try the helmet dive as we do NOT scuba dive and barely snorkel so this seemed like the perfect thing to do. It was. I, personally, was a little apprehensive - well maybe a little more than 'a little' - but my wife said let's try it. She... More

My husband and I have always loved being in the water, and I thought we should give this underwater activity a try. I'm so glad we did. I never thought breathing underwater could be so effortless - all you've got to do is listen to the instructions, put the helmet on, breathe normally, descend, and marvel at the beautiful underwater... This was an incredible experience! Vincent and his staff are awesome, and they showed us the best time! It was my favorite experience on our trip. We were able to interact with the most beautiful fish and huge rays. I would absolutely recommend this adventure to anyone who wants to have amazing experience. Make sure you take extra money to... On our first day in Moorea my friends and I did helmet diving. We barely made the cutoff, but we're so lucky we did, the experience was incredible! Our tour guides were great, very friendly, made us feel comfortable, and took great care of us. Since we had just got off the plane not too many hours before, we opted... More

We were a group of five, two of whom have a PADI and the others didn't hence this was the perfect joint activity to enjoy sea-life! Vincent, who led our group and took us to a quiet lagoon teeming with fish and stingrays, was fantastic and lots of fun ! He also took so many brilliant underwater photos for us... More

Our first time on Moorea and we were not exactly sure what activity to take in. This turned out to be perfect! The owner, Vincent, and his Co-worker, Fred, are both terrific! They make you feel relaxed and like family. The experience is awesome if you want an activity a notch above snorkeling but just below scuba diving. No experience... More

We were collected from the cruise ship on time and taken to the dive shop. A trip on the boat to the area for the Helmet Walk and we got started. After the safety lecture and advices we took turns to enter the water, have the helmet placed on our heads and go down to the sea floor. Taking time... More

We did helmet diving with Aquablue in March during our week-long trip to Moorea. It was 3 of us. We made reservations in advance. They are doing helmet diving twice a day - at 10am and 2pm. Their shop located in the InterContinental Hotel. The price was 7900xpf per person. Fred was our captain/instructor, Stefan dealt with oxygen tanks and... More

My husband and I did this onour last day in Moorea, and it was well worth it. The guides were awesome and it gives you a little glimpse of what scuba diving would be like (I am not scuba certified yet). They give you instructions on what to do while in the water, and the guides are down there with... More
