The beach is awesome. A few locals on the beach sometimes. Shady palms recommended for your blankets and snorkeling gear. Blue skies, turquoise water, reef way out keeps the waves out. Coral in the water, so water shoes recommended or your feet will pay the price for trying to look fabulous. The snorkeling was good, water clear, easy to float... More

Lots of locals here. Good snorkeling, showers and bathrooms. Next door is Sofitel Resort which is the nicest on the island. Good place for lunch, which is no more expensive than other eating places on the island.

Tamae is a beautiful beach, about half a mile of white sand and about the only "public" beach in the island. the road to the beach is not paved so you have to either drive or walk from the main road. All the beaches are supposed to be public but the big hotels have put signs saying the beach is... More

Temae Beach is one of the few expansive white sand beaches on Moorea and is well worth a trip. The water is safe for swimming and a perfect temperature. The views are great and there are good hotels and restaurants nearby.

Beautiful beach and great snorkeling right from shore. Wear water shoes to the beach, and fins as the current can be strong. We parked under the coconut groves and walked the short distance to the beach. Such amazing fish and beautiful clear water. There are sea anemones and lots of clown fish. Our kids loved that we saw all of... More

This is a lovely white sand beach with view across Tahiti. IT is lovely to go for a swim in the turquoise clear water. If you go around the island, this is a nice stop for a picnic and a swim.

nice beach with amazingly clear and robins-egg blue waters. Some stalls sell food and drinks on one end. The 5* private beach on the other end is off-loimits for non-guests.

Good snorkling, many locals. Showers, some shade, clear water. Crowded on weekends. Nexts to resort.

Great beach, amazing snorkeling, quite strong current. Locals seems not very friendly. It should be some surfing there, I had no luck.
