nice beach with amazingly clear and robins-egg blue waters. Some stalls sell food and drinks on one end. The 5* private beach on the other end is off-loimits for non-guests.

Good snorkling, many locals. Showers, some shade, clear water. Crowded on weekends. Nexts to resort.

Great beach, amazing snorkeling, quite strong current. Locals seems not very friendly. It should be some surfing there, I had no luck.

I love Temae. Public beach, very long stretch of white sand and blue waters. Excellent snorkeling spot, perfect swim for children. When looking at the ocean, the best stretch is oon your left side, opposite side of the hotel. Less crowded, no coral. Enjoy!

This beach, rates at the top of most beautiful. Crystal clear waters full of sea life and views to take your breath away. The snorkeling is amazing with corals reefs near shore. As with all the beach areas we visited on the island, there is coral around, so protect your feet. The waters anywhere you go are so clear, it... More

I loved this beach, maybe because it was about the only one on the island that you could use without being at a resort, but still it was beautiful. The water so blue and clear and calm I could float in that lagoon for hours! The beach is quite long but not wide and if you go in the afternoon... More

Don't expect beautifully manicured sand like you would get at the nearby Sofitel, but the snorkelling here is amazing! So much so that we went back here twice - we have two kids 16 & 11 and felt that this beach was the best - lots of locals which was great, and the constant sounds being played out on loud... More

We were warned to park in the Sofitel parking area and not in the Temae beach area as it's not safe and cars are broken into. We did check out the Temae parking area and it certainly looked very unsafe. We had lunch at the Sofitel so it worked out perfectly. You can use their portion of the beach but... More

In Tahiti- do not expect white soft Cancun sand. Always wear swim shoes since there is a possible rock fish danger and there are lots of sea shells! This beach, which is right along the Sofitel, is hands down the best beach on Moorea. Unfortunately/Fortunately on Moorea you have very little beach and lots of lagoon. The snorkeling is amazing... I tried jogging barefooted along this beach, but had to turn back and put on a pair of sneakers. This is not like the soft sand beaches I'm used to in south Florida. Here the beach is composed, in part, of ground up coral and seashells, which are tough on bare feet. Still, it's a lovely beach to stroll along.... More
