This valley has lots to see and do. There are some good zip line and water activities. You have to visit the church in Orosi too (said to be the oldest in Costa Rica). Make sure to hit the nearby hot water pool after a good day of activities.

to enter the valley, you drop down and down and down, away from the bustle of the central valley and into a place that time forgot. love eating at cafetal. must try the trout and the coffee ice cream. the church is the oldest in CR. the climate is cool, nice to visit dota which is nearby.

This was a nice relaxing tour with lunch and a visit to what could be considered a botanic garden. I cannot remember the name of the gardens, but they are quite nice. After the garden you ride around the valley and stop at a couple of churches, have lunch and then return to the hotel. This is a good tour... More

Oh, my, this is a beautiful area in Costa Rica. I don't see how anyone could not agree. The view from the Mirador is spectacular. We have been there twice, and, yes, it was a bit rainy and cloudy, but so pretty. In the little town of Orosi the old church, built in 1743, is not to be missed. The... More

we spent quiete some time there going back & forth by car, as we could not believe how unattractive it was, we thought we were missing the good spot somehow. Compared to diffrent parts of Costa Rica this valley & specially the village Orosi hasn't much to offer, not even a nice restaurant. But there is a fantastic pub just... More

We took a day tour organized by Go Tours Costa Rica that included the Orosi Valley. This was the best experience I had with my wife. One begins to feel the whole valley and appreciate the landscape. This is an artist dream with mountains, animals, coffee plantations and plants unique to Costa Rica. The setting can be photographed and painted.... More

The green valley was beautiful. In the Am the fog was creeping in thru the hills. Very lovely. The framers guide said this was the most beautiful valley in CR and I agree. There is also a fun Hoostel to stay in here.

Pretty countryside with coffee plantations on the southern side. There is a view point available and on a nice day is a pleasant trip.
