Great value. Definitely do it. Luis Palma and his companion were excellent guides - very skilled and very professional. They did a fantastic job and made the trip memorable. If you are planning to go to Orosi then please ensure to arrange to stay overnight at the nearby private hot spring. Luis can help you. His telephone number is: 8345-6368

I and friends decided to drive to Orosi Valley for adventure and we were amazed of the beautiful sceneries both on our way there and on the actual valley. The Mirador de Orosi is a must-visit as o this height, you will be able to see the entire valley and some other nearby towns. The wind is cold so you... More

Gorgeous views - so lush and green! We had lunch at a lovely restaurant in the middle of a coffee plantation!

The old church is not vey exciting. They were setting up a wedding and this may have changed the atmosphere. The gardens were a nice place to take photos. The museum and shop have strange hours. We enjoyed walking around the town. Stopped at a bakery for some baked goods that were delicious. The views of the valley are most... More

We were headed to the Ruinas de Ujarras but ended up on the wrong bus (though the ride into the valley was beautiful so we didn't mind!) and stopped off in Orosi. What a wonderful surprise. The town had such a great feel to it--The people were very friendly, and the vibe was very relaxed; a nice break from the... More

Living in Costa Rica we have been to many towns in the seven provinces. One of our favorite is the Orosi River Valley in Cartago. The towns, mountains, people, and coffee planttions manke it a wonderful place to visit. A must see.

It is a place to visit in one day and enjoy the views, the oldest church of Costa Rica its in the Orosi valley. In this place you can get a taste of the costarrican traditional lifestyle.

The vistas going down into valley are just beautiful. I loved seeing the little villages, especially the village of Orosi with its beautiful old church.

This valley has lots to see and do. There are some good zip line and water activities. You have to visit the church in Orosi too (said to be the oldest in Costa Rica). Make sure to hit the nearby hot water pool after a good day of activities.
