Great gallery, with an interesting selection of works. If you pick the right day of the week, it's free too!

This small museum is absolutely beautiful. They have small exhibits which are a good introduction to art for small children. There are also some lovely works by Jimenez Deredia in the back. But what is most outstanding is the building itself, which recently had a makeover and a new coat of paint. Plus, it´s free to enter...win-win situation!

This museum is not large but it is an interesting eclectic collection. Entrance fee for visitors was inexpensive at $3.00 USD. My husband loved the curved shopping cart exhibit taking multiple pictures with our heads poking over the top. I found I did connect with several of the exhibits which I found highly creative and entertaining. Especially the video of... More

While not large, the museum hosted a variety of art styles and exhibits from local artists. I have to admit that I really connected with most of the displays and appreciated the humor, history and sentiments the artists were presenting.

like I mentioned on my review in Spanish the visit to this museum should be combined with the regular tour of Green Path that also includes a visit to alocal jewelry workshop and finish at a local restaurant with something that can be considered as a gastronomic experience. Hour of our lives we'll never get back. We should have walked past it. Check first to see what is happening before heading over. If it doesn't sound really interesting, go to the National Museum instead.

We were disappointed in the exhibits which were few. I would have wanted to know what the artist had in mind when creating the piece. English interpretive signs were not present. Seniors get in free.

A short walk from Hotel Rincon de San Jose brought me here. I loved the campus, grounds, and the exhibits. The campus is an old distillery with lots of places to explore. The campus also other art venues (dance, music, etc) If you have time, trying to figure out what else to do in San Jose – check this place... More

Small museum with few pieces laid out well. No English signs present. It is housed in a part of the city's cultural arts center. There you will find a dance school and performance center and a theatre.
