Hi there! This volcano is really worth a visit. You have a wonderful view into the amazing crater, and there's also a second old crater. It's filled now with rain water and very beautiful, too. We took a trip up to Volcano Poas and throughly enjoyed the experience. It was great to visit and active volcano. When they advise to wear warm clothes, i would follow that advice. It was a nice trip. The drive up was very good, paved roads all the way up and beautiful scenery.

It's unclear why, but all of the tours combining Poas Volcano reach the place too late in the morning, making the chances against being able to see anything.
