Excellent Education

I have not personally went but I know that it is an excellent institution and any money you pay there it will be worth it.

I loved attending the university of costa rica, such a rich diverse student population, lots of great events to get everyone out and having a fun time. I even remember seeing projecto uno perform here, and some of the very best restaurants are located all around campus - mmmm, arroz con pollo fue muy fabuloso!

This is a large campus. It is filled with numerous educational buildings, beautiful gardens, sculptures to entice the eyes and a small but fabulous Museum of Insects. To get to the museum you need to pass the School of Musical Arts and the sounds eminating from within will definitely attract your attention. There is also a running tract and a... More

Like any other campus, there are very interesting things to see in UCR. I tend to take jogs around the university as the main road goes around the university. But even just to walk through the small forest in the middle which houses 1-2 sloths who usually like coming out to say hello. You can also spot the different graffiti,... More

Well, this ain't much that I can write. But what i can say is that this is the number 1 university in the country ( Government University) which we have the best professional graduated from here. Its a huge campus and you can walk in just if you want to see the place and lay on the green areas...I my... More

Situated in a real trendy area in San Pedro. Many small restaurants and shops nearby. I would have loved to check it out to see if there is a nightlife.

This campus is just an excellent place to visit and soak in the vibes. Friendly people, beautiful flora, nice paths. The neighborhood is replete with small and cheerful cafes and 'sodas' - good coffee, good pastries, good juices. Lovely spot. If you have kids, worth scouring the trees for sloths - they're there!

We saw the University many times and it looks very good, however our friend who we stayed with her daughter is studying medicine there. Having seen the volume of work she does at home i could see the university expect 110% comittment from student's, i am retired from the UK Health Service so i understood many of her assignments and... A beautiful setting for a top notch university! UCR is a center for intellectual stimulation with an excellent faculty, bright students and a comprehensive curriculum. Conversations with faculty and student will bring to light the excitement of teaching and research here in a nicely developed campus. Take time to walk around to enjoy the architecture and the flowers and grassy... More

This the most pretigious university in Costa Rica. ITs campus is large and totally safe, they have a train station that takes students to and from other cities and universities.
