Green break where one can enjoy a stroll and meetings on Sundays. Quite a few runners. It is amazing to be in the centre of a city and yet enjoy the wonderful air

La Sabana is beautiful. It is large, green and full of people playing any manner of sport imaginable. Horse and pony rides are available as well as boat rides. Our 7 year old daughter was thrilled to be here and begs to return.

It is a very big public park considering it is located in the city. It is a great place for a walk as it has a large pond with dozens of geeses of various species. it has beautiful trees and not a bad place to birdwalk. There are always a number of horses and ponies in the park. It also... More

We stopped by the park after a long day of driving and we're excited to see playgrounds in excellent shape - a rare find in most parts of Costa Rica. The park is spacious and clean with so much to do! We only visited the playgrounds, but plan to visit the pond and museum on our next trip.

Really nice park to practice a lot of sports, fresh air. On weekends you can find a lot of people running, skating, playing soccer, football, basketball, baseball even a big mass of people doing aerobics. That's a great place to go with family and take a walk your dog too.

Would not go there at night however not in a very safe place in my opinion. But in the day, its a great place for a... More

Nice large park with a lake, trees and walking trails. Patrolled by horse mounted police makes this park very safe.

This is an ideal place for joggers. My wife and I occasionally use it to get a good morning walk. Easy to access by bus, train, or if you drive to get there, you will have no trouble parking nearby for an early morning visit. During rainy season, morning visits are best. If you have children, plenty of safe places... More
