you can receive mail here for a small charge. postal rates are high but the service is good. great architecture.
The building contains all the services you would expect from a post office. I have been coming here for decades, and I always mail my postcards from here. The staff is very friendly and efficient.
The most noticeable attribute of this public landmark is its structual designs. Simply beautiful and very artistic.
Walk by! There are few historic buildings that are as well kept in San Jose, so it's a nice walk and the people around the Correos building are always interesting and a great portrayal of the working class in the country, rushing to and fro. Recommended

The mail delivery service from Costa Rica is a sad joke. The building is magnificent - and a monument to inefficiency and complacency in mail delivery. We have no street addresses here... the fault of the mail service??? Or the excuse???
