I took a 65 day Leadership Semester course with Costa Rica Outward Bound that included a wide range of activities from hiking and river rafting to earning certifications in Technical Rope Rescue and Wilderness First Responder. I have only good things to say about this organization - the staff are highly professional and knowledgeable, and as a whole, they manage... More

Best money I ever spent. She came back a different, and inspired, person. Was so terrific, we'll be sending our son this year! Only caveat - this is not a luxury trip. Basic amenities only with a close to nature experience. More

My 16 year old daughter went on the 15 day multi element course this summer. While it was challenging mentally and physically, she had the time of her life! She could not stop talking about the trip and her adventures for months after. This was by far the best trip I have ever been on, it taught me to believe... More

Our son had the time of his life during the Panama kayak course. The staff were extremely helpful, warm, and knowledgeable. He had some amazing experiences, including serving some orphans in a remote Panama village. Sea kayaking, scuba diving, sleeping under the stars, wake-boarding and much more - all lead to an amazing adventure! More

My daughter learned how to take life as it comes on her two week journey. Rafting, surfing, hiking, and learning about other cultures was perfect for my city girl. She came home strong, relaxed and motivated. More

My son Kevin went on a 24 day multi element trip with CROBBS and it was the best thing he ever did, so much so that as a crazy 53 year women I decided to go and see what it was all about. I did a 9 day CROBBS adult multi element trip which was 9 days. It was the... More

CRROBS runs outstanding program courses designed to challenge you both physically and mentally, while at the same time, introducing you to a country, culture and population that is truly spectacular. I am a 42 year old New York attorney who needed to get away from the day-to-day of modern, American life. The CRROBS "reconnect with nature" course exceeded every expectation... More

Crironman, I just saw your post and although I empathize with you and your family, I do not think that misleading the public is the right path to take, as many people can benefit from the growth experience that CRROBS offers. I see that you are located in Calgary, I am in Edmonton, and would be happy to talk to... More

I took a Costa Rica Outward Bound semester course in the Fall of 2008. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I decided to take a semester off from the traditional college setting and test myself physically and mentally. The course did just that and then some. It was exactly what I needed to supplement my...
