I second all the other reviews: this is a very exciting and extremely well organised minor expedition. Just be fairly fit, and get ready for a super time. Incredible value!

Incredible experience with an awesome group of people! For $99, the one-day Pacuare tour includes all transportation, breakfast/lunch, as well as an amazing time. Pick up and drop off location can be different-- take advantage of this perk. Shout out to our guide Roberto! Safety was priority on our raft, but in no way did this take away from the... More

This rafting tour was great!!!! The tour guides were super nice. And the river was amazing. It was raining plus the river water in the rain forest was perfect. No doubt that I will be back!!!!!

During booking the "overnight rafting" experience we didn't expect so much.. it's been really fun and exciting the rafting along the Rio Pacuare and so romantic and relaxing spend a night at the river camp. The rafting guys, Roy and Abel, have been very professional and hospitable. they served us a romantic dinner with candles and wine in the jungle.... More

We did the one-day trip down the Pacuare on August 11th. We went with Costa Sol from San Jose and their guides were excellent and safety-conscious. It's a long day, but well worth the $99 per-person cost. Raul was our guide throughout the day and Juan led us down the river while Raul served as our safety kayaker. They were... More

I booked this trip with some friends through Costa del Sol, and we had a blast. It's a long day, so be prepared to be picked up early in the morning, and not get back til early evening. There's a stop for breakfast prior to rafting which is decent. The rafting trip itself was great, and its amazingly scenic. Lunch... More

I booked the 1 Day tour through Gecko Trails. The tour bus picked me up on time at the entrance of Cahuita National Forrest. it was clean and comfortable but, as is the case with all bus situations in Costa Rica, they aren't big on the bathroom breaks. i suggest hydrating the day before any sort of travel in CR,... This water rafting trip was by far the best value of anything I did on my trip. With pick up right from my hotel in San Jose, free breakfast and lunch, 4 hours on the water, all for $99, what a deal. I went by myself and met some great people and our guide was awesome. Was given several opportunities... More

This was just a fantastic day, rafting through a beautiful national park on the river Pacuare. The drive is a little arduous, around 2.5 hours, but well worth it. The team were friendly and everything was well organised. The scenery was stunning, the water warm and the rapids just angry enough to make it adventurous without being dangerous.
