Family group ranging in age from 16 to 72 went on rafting adventure with Kristen, Louis, and Walter, From pick up at our rental house to the 18 mile trip, to delivery back in San Jose at our Villa, all had a great day. Well equipped, safe, knowledgeable guides provided a non hurried, 4 hour adventure. Oh yes, the trip... more

The Pacuare River tours was an excellent experience. They picked 10 of us up 2 1/2 hours away and fed us a full breakfast before rafting. The guides were very concerned about safety and spent a good amount of time going over what to expect on the river. This was great for someone like me who has never white water... more

These guys are a really well run and knowledgeable outfit. They collected me from my hostel, fed me a great breakfast and then took me (and the rest of our group) on the most amazing 18 mile trip down the rapids of the Pacuare river. Beautiful scenery and exciting class 3 and 4 rapids, including swimming under a waterfall and... more

Kristin and her crew are amazing. We had a group of seven rowdy guys on a bachelor trip (including a non-swimmer and several first-time rafters) -- not necessarily a choice group for taking on a semi-dangerous activity. We were allowed to have our fun (even with some participation / egging on from our guide, Moses), but were kept very safe... more

I am 76 years young and went white water rafting with my three adult sons. Although paddling hard and getting bounced around in Class III and IV rapids, it was, without a doubt, the most exhilirating part of our Costa Rican adventure. Kristin Adams Johnson, our warm and friendly guide (and I believe the owner), was very experienced and knowledgeable... more

There was 7 of us and everyone in our group agree this was highlight of our Costa Rica trip ( Much better than... more

My boyfriend and I have never been white water rafting. We left incredibly safe the entire time. Kristin was an amazing tour guide. The food was amazing which you don't expect from most tour guide trips. This was the exception, wonderful Tico food. Kristin was kind enough to lend her knowledge of Costa Rica and recommend some additional places to... more

This one-day adventure battling class III and IV rapids is an unforgettable Costa Rican experience not to be missed! My family and I are still talking about it now. Every time someone views our pictures they want to go. The owner and our guide Matt was knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all very concerned with everyone having fun while remaining... more
