This was the best vacation of our lives. Sedona was a wonderful stop to break up the bus ride from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Our tour director gave us excellent insider advice about lunch options. The Grand Canyon is bigger and more dramatic than it shows on video. This tour gives the opportunity for 2 sunrises and sunsets. Anyone... More

Caravan is my favorite tour company. Their Costa Rican tour includes all meals, lovely hotels, and a careful selection of sights; 2 volcanos, 2 river boat rides filled with up close views of crocodiles, birds, monkeys, etc. Tours of local enterprises. It is a bargain at the price.

Where to begin...? Let's talk about the great low price they charge for this fantastic adventure to this beautiful tropical country, we don't know how they run this tour with this price, after a long research We noticed no other adventure company includes the top notch JW Marriott with Manuel Antonio and Arenal Volcano in the same trip. Elston was... More

What can I say about our amazing trip to Costa Rica with Caravan Tours. My wife and I decided to take the 9 day excursion for our 25th anniversary. We couldn’t have had a better time. Our tour director, Ruth (baby Ruth) was simply amazing with her professionalism, historical knowledge and super fun energy. Christian (Niato) our driver was also... More

This is probably the best travel value in Central America. Only $1,000 for 10 days. We did the math and it would cost about 3X that if you did it on your own. There were very active people on our tour (including marathon runners) and those not active at all (like me). Ages ranged from 12 to 74 including two... More

My 5th trip with Caravan Tours. Started out in Calgary for one night. Hotel supplies transportation from airport to hotel....go outside airport and phone the hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and had a nice lobby, dining area and bar. Indoor pool and small gym. 1st evening met the other "Caravaners" along with the tour guide: Rick Ward. I have... More

This was our first organized tour and our first trip to Costa Rica. It was a great trip. By touring with caravan we got to see more of the country than we would have on our own. Our tour guide, Alejandra was wonderful. The tour was well organized, and we learned so much about Costa Rica and its people. I... More

My wife and I took our first "organized" tour with Caravan in Costa Rica. Usually we are independent travelers. This was a great experience and ne that would have been difficult to replicate on our own. The hotels surprised me on the upside with the JW Marriott and the Arenal Springs Resort bering the highlights. The food ,all served buffet... More
