We dove Quepos point and canyon Reef off of Manuel Antonio park. Vis was only 20-30 ft at times, but we saw an octopus, moray eels, sleeping sharks and many lobster. Dive instructor Brad ( transplant from Chicago) was awesome and was a joy diving with. Looking fwd to next visit to Cano Island!

My husband dove 2 2 tank dives during our week in the Manuel Antonio area. I snorkeled once. The staff is both professional and friendly. The equipment is well maintained. The boat is a little small, but adequate. Each dive was at a different spot. Visibility was at about 20'. Rays, lobsters and many different fish were seen. Snacks and... More

I just completed my open water certification and had a great time. They were very understanding, knowledgable and accommodating. I would highly recommend seeing them for your certification

My husband and I were quite disappointed with the diving around Manuel Antonio park. The day before we were told that the conditions were great and after talking to the shop we were expecting the same. Although it was a bright and sunny day, the water was rough and the visibility was poor, 2m on average. On top of the... More

Thank you very much for your comments and we are sorry to hear about your bad experience. The diving in Manuel Antonio is generally at its best this time of year with visibility between 10 and 20m with plenty to see. Unfortunately the day you came diving an unexpected swell came in and kicked up the conditions a lot. The... More

I lived in Costa Rica from May 2013 to July 2014 since my job sent me there (USMC). I got my BASIC SCUBA DIVER, OPEN WATER DIVER, and ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER certifications here. I recently moved to Mexico and wanted to dive with some old friends. Myself and JT who is one of the diving instructors go back and... More

I just completed the four ocean dives of my PADI open water scuba diving certification course with Oceans Unlimited. The experience was great! JT and Gina and the rest of the crew did a terrific job. They were knowledgeable, patient, gave clear instruction and inspired confidence. They enjoy what they do and that shows. The first three dives interspersed the... More

We were not divers, but looking for an opportunity to get out and snorkel around Manuel Antonio. Bob was very flexible about working a snorkling excursion into his plans, and arranged for us to see dolphins playing as well. Fresh local fruit was provided on board for a tasty snack. We had a great time and I'd recommend Oceans Unlimited... More

Very well organised dive shop. Folks are super friendly and will go an extra mile to make each dive special. Following advise of a friend I also wanted to organize a dive in Canō island, oceans unlimited made it possible by contacting another dive shop and helping with transportation. Kudos to Bob for entertaining stories and good luck!

Awesome fun crew of people! They took use to some awesome spots where our instructor Bob pointed out tons of cool things around the coral reef. Bob was really knowledgable of the area, and showed us a HUGE awesome snapper hiding out in a cave. Over all I had a great experience, and it was a great ending to my... More

We contacted oceans unlimited upon our arrival here at Quepos. They put us in on an upcoming guy with no hassles. The crew is very safe and knowledgeable. I would definitely dive with these guys again. Great experience! Thanks Bob and JT!
