Very poor visibility

5 of us went out. High swells, 10 foot visibility. Didn't really enjoy it , in fact I chose not to do my second tank . Staff young, somewhat inexperienced. Gina was great

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time diving with Oceans Unlimited. The whole team were not only a ton of fun to hang out with, but they also clearly knew what they were doing. Safety was always their first concern, but also did everything they could to get us the best diving experience possible. Brad was our guide for... More

When I arrived I was a PADI Rescue Diver and in my two and a half months there they guided me through the Divemaster Internship, Instructor and MSDT courses. For my Divemaster I had JT as my instructor, who I felt thrived to develop me as a diver and prepare me for my IDC. Georgia took our IDC and MSDT... More

Let me start off by saying that the owners were nothing but helpful and accommodating. They even referred us to another dive op who could possibly get us some diving w/ better vis. down south. However I unfortunately have to agree with a few of the other posts about the dive guides being more concerned about the previous nights social... More

Hola Dave and Audrey, after diving with you both for multiple days it is great to get some feedback as we like to learn and continue to make our diving services as good as they can be. Your first point, with dives being 45 minutes only. As explained during briefings, dives are on average 45 minutes with a depth of... More

I picked Oceans for some Tec training and couldn't be happier. Even in the middle of an IDC they managed to work in the stuff I needed to pick up 3 Tec certs, as well as a gas blending cert. Georgia was a great instructor and made sure that everything went smoothly and safely, and was very good at making... More

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment was in great condition. My only comment would be that more direction could have been provided on the boat and marina as to what they expected of us and maybe a little less comardie between the guides and more interaction between the guides and the guest divers. But I felt comfortable... More

Just finished my padi IDC course with gopro Costa Rica / océans unlimited, and had à very good time. The four of us passed the IE exam with very good grades thanks to the profesional training we got from experienced staff in OU. I dont even think gopro Costa Rica has ever had a student failing the exam, so... Good... More

I recently just departed Quepos after having completed the IDC with GoPro Costa Rica and Oceans Unlimted. What a fantastic experience. Georgia, the course director, helped organize everything prior to my arrival in Costa Rica--she was quick to respond to my questions and really helped me book this IDC on short notice when another program I was considering ended up... We dove Quepos point and canyon Reef off of Manuel Antonio park. Vis was only 20-30 ft at times, but we saw an octopus, moray eels, sleeping sharks and many lobster. Dive instructor Brad ( transplant from Chicago) was awesome and was a joy diving with. Looking fwd to next visit to Cano Island!

My husband dove 2 2 tank dives during our week in the Manuel Antonio area. I snorkeled once. The staff is both professional and friendly. The equipment is well maintained. The boat is a little small, but adequate. Each dive was at a different spot. Visibility was at about 20'. Rays, lobsters and many different fish were seen. Snacks and... More
