We ended up at Brisas del Nara because our hotel horseback tour was sold out. Glad we did. These guys took us on a wonderful ride to a beautiful waterfall where we swam and jumped off rocks, and had a real Costa Rican adventure. We did the full day tour, which is about 3+ hours of riding. You make a... More

In a week of ATV and Zip lines it's hard to believe the horseback riding was the most memorable. We had a blast it was super well organized and beautiful. We wanted adventure and the horses gave us more than we could handle. The people were super nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend them and the trip it was just... More

I grew up with horses and have been on many trail rides and Brisas del Nara was by far, the best ever! Jimy was our guide and made sure that every one was first, safe and second, having a great time. He was very knowledgable about the local plants and animals and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. The breakfast and lunch were... More

Spent a delightful morning riding through the Cerro Nara mountains to reach a spectacular waterfall for a refreshing swim, then headed back to a delicious homemade meal at the family's small, al fresco restaurant. Young guides were friendly & attentive and the horses were well-trained & lovingly cared for - wonderful, low key activity, perfect for family.👍

Our guide, Jimmy and a driver picked us up at our resort in Manuel Antonio. We drove through some beautiful countryside to their ranch. We had a yummy breakfast waiting for us and then were given instructions on how to ride and what to do. After an hour and a half ride, it felt good to cool off at the... More

What a great time! Our main guide Jordy, and his godfather picked us up from our hotel by Quepos to bring us to the Nara mountains and Naranjo river area to ride. The areas beauty speaks for itself, and Jordy was a great guide, teaching us the basics of riding and pointing out all the different flora and fauna along... More

While our guides Nelson and Randal were wonderful, these were my issues with this excursion. It was very unorganized compared to the other groups. The horses were not in good shape and a few of the saddles were in poor shape too. With 6 kids, 11 people total we were not given the first instruction when we got on the... More

Great horses! Great guides! Correspondance when making reservations was expedient and professional which I appreciated. felt like I was on my own jungle exploration. You do not have to ride nose to tail. Yoy can trot, cantor, or gallop your horse. Beautiful trails. Birds, butterflies, and waterfalls. Be sure to tip your guides. :) My only suggestion is a newer... I have always loved to go horseback riding, but was cautious of the "Tourist" horseback rides. My daughter and I decided to give this one a try and it was the best time! Jimmy, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the plants and showed us so many unique plants. The horses were wonderful! There was never a time that... More

Great rain forest jeep tour with Jimmy! Really terrific food -- breakfast and lunch -- in an authentic local setting. Jimmy was so friendly and knowledgeable, stopping the jeep to teach us about the many interesting plants of the rain forest. My teenage twins and I enjoyed the suspension bridge walk, while my wife enjoyed photographing us! Nice stop at... More
