My daughter, her boyfriend and I headed to Quepos for our second bucket fish - Roosterfish. We were not disappointed. JP Sports Fishing has terrific crews - Captains that are highly professional and highly skilled. We fished three days with Captain Eric. Our fist day out we had but one sailfish - none the less - a 90 pound sailfish... More

We booked a 3/4 day sport fishing trip with JP Sport Fishing and although we had reservations about cost and how high to set our expectations, it was well worth it. Ok, disclaimer... it wasn't perfect, nothing every is BUT it was FUN, ADVENTUROUS & the Crew (Capt., Junior & Cheetah) was, simply put... AMAZING! As a whole, the experience... More

Carlos and his guys did an awesome job for us. We were targeting bill fish and they put us right on them. Eric was our captain and very knowledgeable about the waters we fished. We will definitely return.

Carlos was so easy to work with. Always communicated everything we needed to know. Fishing was amazing. Our Captain and mate did a wonderful job. We caught 5 Sailfish and about 9 Grouper! Would recommend to anyone. Carlos also helped us find a chef to cook at our house. The food was delicious and Chefs were amazing! Great time!

Literally from the minute we entered the country until we left Carlos was amazing. From organizing all the transportation, the fishing and even setting up a zip line tour he worked nonstop and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. The Sea Lady and her crew Javier and Cheta were very professional and did whatever it... More

Carlos and his team are great! Not only did we have an amazing fishing trip, but Carlos also connected us to a chef who came to our to cook a few meals for us! Caught 3 sailfish!! (Five if you count the ones that broke the line before we got them hauled into the boat for pictures!) My 10 year old went with us and the driver turned around when we drove through a group of bonito so that my son would be able to reel something in. The sailfish were, of course, too... More

Hi Jenn, Catching 3 out of 5 sailfish in July is pretty darn good! Others weren't as lucky. Sometimes while fishing it will happen that fish cut the line, spit the hook, or just don't take the bait, etc we just try our best to do what we have to do to get fish. I am so glad you and... More

We booked our trip on August 1st knowing that it was the offseason but our goals were to just hook a sailfish. The average reports for all the boats in the area were 1 to 2 sailfish. In the first hour of fishing we successfully hooked and landed the first 2 sailfish thanks to the amazing crew. The day went... More

Carlos was great to work with! We went fishing in the offseason and were hoping to catch a billfish. We started off by catching a few snapper, grouper, and etc then went trolling. Within the first 20 min we had a 150 lb sailfish hooked up! The trip was great and next time we will be back during April when... More

Hi Brian, Thanks for the review! Like I said before you never know what's going to happen when you go fishing. I do know we will TRY our BEST! But I'm glad you caught 1 sailfish at least. The best season for sailfish is from November to April, so hopefully I get to see guys then! Take Care! Ps: Maybe... More
