While you're in Quepos / Manuel Antonio Costa Rica you won't want to miss out on this unique, eco-friendly Segway Jungle Island tour that will put you directly on jungle trails and beaches full of wildlife. This Segway tour includes: Segway training, safety equipment, bilingual guide, ferry fare, bottle of water, natural drink, and snacks. What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes or sandals, and camera. We will also take a lot of pictures of your tour. We provide training on the x2 off road Segway. Our guest range from "pro's" to "first time" riders, and in age from 10 to 85 years. This is the most fun you can have standing up. We teach you how to stand, ride and have a blast on our new 2014 Segway's. Our guides will have you riding like an expert within 15 minutes. We will also review all safety issues with the Segways to give you a safe and enjoyable experience. The Tour Details - Your Segway tour starts at the Quepos Marina. We start by teaching you Segway Safety and then to ride the Segway. Segway Costa Rica will provide all required safety equipment. From the Quepos marina we will ride to the beautiful Nahomi Park. This raised park provides a great panoramic view's above the clear Pacific Ocean waters and also has a family of sloths living there. We sometimes see sloth's and spider monkeys playing in the large tree's of Nahomi park. Leaving Nahomi Park we will ride along the raised walkway that borders Quepos and the Pacific Ocean on our way to the ocean ferry that will take us to the beautiful Jungle Island just off shore called Cocal Island. You will experience Cocal and it's beauty. Cocal Island has no bridges or cars, just beautiful natural walk ways and endless beaches. Cocal is home to a small colony of friendly villagers. It is also home to the 2013 World Body Board Champion! Touring the island of Cocal we stop at a Sugar Cane Plantation and you will sample & take some fresh cut sugar cane with you. We stop at a shaded beach area where you can pick your own coconut for a natural drink. Our guides will open the coconut for you to experience it fresh. After riding on the sands of the island and touring endless walk ways and trails, we head back to the ferry and return to the Quepos Marina where our tour ends.

From the excellent training to the experience itself, just a great time! Our guide and training Instructor, Luis, made us feel at ease and confident that we could handle the Segways. When you are in quepos, this definitely a "must" experience!!!

To begin, the safety factor was continuous and was followed throughout the essential instructional period; as well as, the Segway tour. Louis was the instructor and was extremely supportive in his approach to teach everyone the mechanics of the Segway without any injuries. The meaning "stay focused" was imprinted on each participant -- a great way for children to learn... More

Exceptional guide, Luis, spent ample time training three newbies in our group. He was patient and thorough. Once we were proficient enough to head out on the tour, Luis was informative of the local surroundings. The area is poor but very interesting. We saw a fishing village and local children, farms, forest, wildlife and beach. Our guide pointed out many... More

Great experience. Real easy to use and fun to explore the island area. Our guide Luis was great. We had two children ages 12 and 8 and he was really good with them. You can tell they take a lot of kids out. They were actually better than the adults. Good to do in Quepos because the kids wouldn't be... More

This is by far one of the best tours in Manuel Antonio. You will not just have a great time, but you will be able to learn from the town across the other side of quepos. Cocal. I would really encourage everyone to take this tour, it really offers an experience, it is not just a tour. For sure one... More

Our family of 9 had an awesome time learning to ride Segways and exploring some of the less seen areas of Quepos. 8 of us had never ridden a Segway before, but were able to pick it up in less than 10 minutes after a video and instruction on the Segway. Our age range was from 10 years old to... More

My girlfriend and I visited back in December 2014 and we highly recommend it. Luis was an extremely excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, funny and very enthusiastic about making sure the participants were having fun. The day begins with a tutorial on how to operate the segway and they make sure that you are fully comfortable with it before you... More

From the start till the end, the experience was fun, highly enjoyable and family friendly. Luis was a great teacher, as it was our first segway try. After the initiation, we felt so comfortable with the machine we decided to extend our 1.30h city tour to the 2h island beach tour. Guess what: Luis offered us the difference! We highly... More
