While you're in Quepos / Manuel Antonio Costa Rica you won't want to miss out on this unique, eco-friendly Segway Jungle Island tour that will put you directly on jungle trails and beaches full of wildlife. This Segway tour includes: Segway training, safety equipment, bilingual guide, ferry fare, bottle of water, natural drink, and snacks. What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes or sandals, and camera. We will also take a lot of pictures of your tour. We provide training on the x2 off road Segway. Our guest range from "pro's" to "first time" riders, and in age from 10 to 85 years. This is the most fun you can have standing up. We teach you how to stand, ride and have a blast on our new 2014 Segway's. Our guides will have you riding like an expert within 15 minutes. We will also review all safety issues with the Segways to give you a safe and enjoyable experience. The Tour Details - Your Segway tour starts at the Quepos Marina. We start by teaching you Segway Safety and then to ride the Segway. Segway Costa Rica will provide all required safety equipment. From the Quepos marina we will ride to the beautiful Nahomi Park. This raised park provides a great panoramic view's above the clear Pacific Ocean waters and also has a family of sloths living there. We sometimes see sloth's and spider monkeys playing in the large tree's of Nahomi park. Leaving Nahomi Park we will ride along the raised walkway that borders Quepos and the Pacific Ocean on our way to the ocean ferry that will take us to the beautiful Jungle Island just off shore called Cocal Island. You will experience Cocal and it's beauty. Cocal Island has no bridges or cars, just beautiful natural walk ways and endless beaches. Cocal is home to a small colony of friendly villagers. It is also home to the 2013 World Body Board Champion! Touring the island of Cocal we stop at a Sugar Cane Plantation and you will sample & take some fresh cut sugar cane with you. We stop at a shaded beach area where you can pick your own coconut for a natural drink. Our guides will open the coconut for you to experience it fresh. After riding on the sands of the island and touring endless walk ways and trails, we head back to the ferry and return to the Quepos Marina where our tour ends.

Our tour guides were the best and got to know all 11 of us by name. Great cultural experience and had surprises of trying local tastes on the tour. Very educational and beautiful experience. The off roading was great so we could see as much as possible. One of the best things we did in Costa Rica!

Love love love the tour! Luis (our guide) was very good and really made us feel safe and made sure we were having fun. We even got to drink fresh coconut from the tree which he cracked open for us. We cruised the streets of town, the back alleys and the beach. It was our first Segway experience and it... More

Saturday my wife and 10 year old son took this amazing tour with Luis our host and guide. From the moment we arrived to the Quepos Marina (1 hour drive from Jaco and easy to find) Luis greeted us as long lost relatives. We had made reservations for this 2:00pm beach ride so Luis was waiting for us. We had... More

Our family of 4 had never been on a Segway before but were expertly introduced to it by Luis. We had an awesome time touring the area. Luis was very attentive to all our needs and was enthusiastic and encouraging throughout. It seemed like he had as good a time as us! We were all connected by radios which were... More

The tour provided great scenery and lots of information about our surroundings. Cold water was provided and they even took pictures for us. Luis and Daniel made sure we were safe at all... More

A MUST DO - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Our teenagers cannot stop talking about this tour, and we cannot speak highly enough of our guide Luis. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and professional yet fun. So many little details...They even had cold bottled water available for us throughout the tour. Our trip to Cocalo Island was an experience to never be forgotten.... More
