We sometimes see sloth's and spider monkeys playing in the large tree's of Nahomi park. Leaving Nahomi Park we will ride along the raised walkway that borders Quepos and the Pacific Ocean on our way to the ocean ferry that will take us to the beautiful Jungle Island just off shore called Cocal Island. You will experience Cocal and it's beauty. Cocal Island has no bridges or cars, just beautiful natural walk ways and endless beaches. Cocal is home to a small colony of friendly villagers. It is also home to the 2013 World Body Board Champion! Touring the island of Cocal we stop at a Sugar Cane Plantation and you will sample & take some fresh cut sugar cane with you. We stop at a shaded beach area where you can pick your own coconut for a natural drink. Our guides will open the coconut for you to experience it fresh. After riding on the sands of the island and touring endless walk ways and trails, we head back to the ferry and return to the Quepos Marina where our tour ends.

We went on a Segway Tour around Quepos and it was out of this world!!! First, our guide was incredible and cool, explaining in detail to us how to drive the segway and then showing us around. The tour included going around town, somewhat dirty roads and the beach!!! This is a must do while in the Quepos or Manuel... More

Luis and Oliver were awesome guides. With ages ranging from 7- 68 we were all given plenty of instruction to feel safe in the Segway. At first, I was hesitant of the tour but then my eyes and heart opened to this fishing village. This area was all dirt and rocky roads- most of the kids played in bare feet... More

Our Tour started with a basic Segway lesson to get help us use the equipment, followed by complete instruction what to do and how to do. During the tour our tour guide Louis shared a lot of information about local area including history and current information. Also, we enjoyed going on the boat to the island where we could see... Segway Costa Rica is one of the most unique tours you can do in Costa Rica. Riding a Segway is so much fun and amazingly easy to operate. Luis, our guide, did a great job and took his time training us on how to operate the segway. Safety is priority one. The tour takes you through town to a ferry.... More

This was our unanimous favorite experience while in Costa Rica. Expert, thorough and patient teaching by very friendly staff (Luis and Andreas). After learning how to operate the Segway we felt prepared for our adventure that took us through Quepos, on a small ferry to an island and through a very rustic small village of local fishermen. This is a... More

I was nervous to ride the Segway PT for the first time on May 25th, but our guide Luis was so great! He made sure everyone in our group felt comfortable with the machines before we set out on a very fun and informative guided tour around Quepos. We saw parts of Quepos that normal visitors wouldn't have seen, rode... More

We took the segway tour on Monday, May 25th. Luis did a wonderful job showing us around the island and providing us with a different view that we might not had seen otherwise. Luis provided us with samples of the island fruits that were edible and answered all of our questions. The weather was beautiful and the surrounding serene. Enjoyed... More

A great and really unique way to tour around Quepos and the adjacent island! We were a party of 11; within minutes Luis, the head guide, knew all of our names. His engaging personality gave us a lot of confidence on the segway and made the excursion so much fun! (all of the other guides were great too) We were... More

We were very disappointed in the tour that we took. We booked the shorter tour which we still expected would give us some interesting sites. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The guide,Luis was very pleasant and patient with the newbies in the group.BUT,the tour only went through the marina and down some dirt/rocky roads. We did see some rural areas... More
