We fish for all species found in this area, but specialize in Pacific Sailfish and Marlin. We offer all the newest in technology and gear on the boat, and have a complete set of Penn International Reels to get your big fish to the boat! Our electronics include all high end Furuno components, and we have a 2010 Cummins Diesel pushing us out to where the fish are!

I have spent way too many days on the water searching for my first respectable Rooster fish and continued to come up empty handed and always finding that I "should have been there yesterday". I spent a few days in Quepos last week fishing and again, no Rooster. As I spent my final day looking over the ocean with a... More

Great service. First day out swells made my youngest son sea sick and we had to return after only an hour on the water. John invited us back the next day at no extra charge and we had a great day drop fishing for snapper and grouper, caught tons of fish. Great customer service!

Going in I didn't have great expectations, but was hopeful in crossing pacific sailfish off my list. Long story short I couldn't have been more satisfied with the trip. The boat was immaculate and fastidiously organized, crew was seasoned, skilled and best of all extraordinarily passionate about their craft. You just knew if fish were around and willing, we'd get... I'll take a bad day fishing over a good day at the office. Knowing that it was the slow season, my expectations were low. The guys sure proved me wrong. The morning was slow so we went out for some action and got caught a really nice sized grouper and red snapper for dinner. On our way back in with... More

We fished with Quepos Fish Adventure in early June. Coordinating the trip via email was very easy, they were the most responsive of all the Costa Rican businesses we contacted. Boat was ready and waiting, and Captain Mike and his mate were awesome. Despite being in a seasonal transition when the sail fishing is typically slow, we landed three big... More

The team at Quepos Fishing are great! The accommodations were beautiful, activities were exactly what we were wanting (fishing, national park, trip to Arenal, private chef for dinners). Everyone was friendly, professional, and made the planning so easy. Especially the car transfer to and from the airport and up to Arenal. We would love to return and would 100% do... More

Booked this trip last minute as my prior booking fell through. Was a little skeptical, but it turned out great. We ended up C&R 3 sails and 1 other fish we didn't identify that got away. CAPT Mike and his mate were good--very knowledgeable, good equipment--very good experience and is alot less expensive than some of the other charters! Included... More

Sorry about the toilet and the seat, some really big guy broke it and we have already purchased a new one but everything in Costa Rica has to be imported from the US and takes several weeks. Although the toilet does work, it is broken as of right now, but that should be fixed by the first of June 2015.... More

The wife and I were down the last week of April ,and we had 3 days booked with Capt. John. You couldn't ask for a better charter the 1st day offshore. The wife and I were 6 for 9 on sailfish. The 2nd day was inshore and we had 2 nice roosterfish. The 3 day was another offshore trip and... More

Just finished 3 day charter with John and his crews. Cap'n Johnny was awesome inshore with 3 nice rooster fish the largest was 64 inches! A true trophy that really wore me out. The second day offshore with John and Alex I boated 14 sailfish and they were incredible guys to fish with. The 3rd day with Miguel and Joshua... More

We were set up for three full days of fishing. The first day inshore with Johnny gave us plenty of action with tough fighting rooster fish. That was just a warm-up for the next two days offshore with plenty of sail fish action for the five of us. Captain Mike and the mate Jose were terrific. They provided everything that... More
