We took several tours with Rancho Los Tucanes including Carera, Manuel Antonio and Corcovado National Parks. The guides were trained naturalists and very fluent in English. Andrew was particularly good. The tours and meals were excellent, including the traditional fare served at the Rancho. More

We were most fortunate and blessed to have a very special tour guide while visiting Quepos, Cost Rica. We booked our tours through Anywhere Costa Rica which provided five-star service. Our first tour was the Damas Estuary Boat trip led by Arleth who I believe is getting married in January. The bus arrived most promptly at Pueblo Real at 7:30... More

We're really glad we took a guided tour of the park, otherwise we would have never seen most of the things we saw: sleeping sloths, tucanes, tree frog, bats, etc. of course the monkeys, iguanas, and raccoons could not be missed. Absolutely recommend using an official tour company, such as Rancho Los Tucanes, to make your time in the park... More

My friends and I were looking for a fun but relaxing water activity where we could have fun and chat but also explore a little and get a little arm work out as well. This was exactly what we were looking for. We had a lot of fun and felt like it was an easy activity to do on vacation! More

We had a wonderful time on the mangrove tour with Rancho los Tucanes. They picked us up right on time. We had an amazing tour guide who knew everything you could possibly want to know about everything we saw on the tour. She was an absolute pleasure to learn from. She went out of her way to look for animals... More

Our guide, Arlet, was great. She guided us through Manuel Antonio National Park. She taught us about the plants, frogs, birds and monkeys. We saw white - faced and howler monkeys. We saw two-toed and three-toed sloths. She pointed out the 'sleeping plant' as well as many frogs. We also used this tour company for Kayaking which was amazing. A... More

Transportation was on time. Our boat tour of the mangrove forest turned out to be private, which was nice with our toddler. Our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. Trip had to be cut short a bit due to heavy rain, but it was ok because our son was getting bored and whiny. They took us to a very tasty restaurant.... More

We were in Costa Rica for 8 days, and Racho Los Tucanes was the only outfit that we came across that charged us a 5% surcharge for using our Visa card. We hired them for horseback riding. They did a good job. Just be aware of the 5% surcharge. They didn't tell me that when I booked my excursion. More

I just got back from a cruise that stopped in Quepos. I had booked an excursion to visit Miguel Antonio Park and they used Rancho Los Tucanes. I have to say that we really lucked out with them. There were about 30 of us and they divided us into two groups. Because we were walking pretty close to each other... More
