I went on a boat ride from Montezuma to the Island of Tortuga in May 2009 with friends. It was a truly amazing experience! The ride itself was about 30 minutes. The boat held about 20 people. We stopped mid ride to snorkel by these amazing rock bluffs coming out of the turquoise water. There were white birds perched all... More

Loved our trip to Tortuga! It was amazing, and the scenery was wonderful. In my opinion, it's the best and prettiest water you'll find in Costa Rica. There are birds and wild pigs on the island as well. Not really many tips to give since its a pretty simple is,and, other than to enjoy it and actually do it. More

Swiss Tours. The water was choppy and murky. The snorkeling is limited to 1 hour and they do not have floating boards or other extras for the water. Some people had to wait until after eating a large lunch to go since they must not have anticipated so many clients (crowded). On the island you are limited to the beach and... More

WE had a great time on the island, well worth it. The beach is a little rocky, would have been a good idea to bring water shoes! More

While the boat ride was decent enough, I would not recommend this place. We had to wade out to the row boat to get on the main boat (all this after signing a waiver that we were all healthy...now I realize this was in case we broke an ankle or worse!) The island is limited, seedy picnic tables and VERY... More
