We had a fantastic time with Zuma Tours. We enjoyed the Tortuga Island tour and actually did it twice within our 4 week stay. The staff was excellent and the food and service were outstanding. We also used Zuma's water taxi which I have to admit is a lot better than going on the ferry which takes quite a bit... More

We used Zuma tours to get us from Jaco to Montezuma in Costa Rica. As we were running slightly late for departure they were happy to hold the water taxi (speed boat) for a few minutes. The staff were friendly. I would fault them on safety though. While I was never actually worried about safety, they made no effort to... More

Traveling to Costa Rica for the last 10 years we have run into a few " So Called" tour operators only to be disappointed in almost every aspect. While staying in Montezuma we went into Zuma Tours where we were met by a more than helpful staff and the owner Ivan was there to assist. We were so impressed with... More

Booked from UK and was very pleased with efficiency of this company. Shuttle bus picked me up @ my hotel for the 10 minute drive to Jaco beach to for the speed boat to M'zuma... & dropped me at hotel on my return a week later. The speed boat was great fun and worth the $40 fare one way if... More

Recently, my husband and I go married in Montezuma. This was my fourth time to Montezuma and every time is a great time. However, my most memorable parts of the trip were always some adventure I did with Zuma tours. I highly recommend Tortuga Islands and 4-wheeling but you can't go wrong. Everyone is extremely helpful. My father’s passport was... More

My family and I loved the boat ride to go snorkeling and to Tortuga Island. Lunch at the island was delicious. The Zuma tour guides were the nicest young men and very kind. I lost a part of my snorkeling equipment while snorkeling and one of the guys dived right down there and got it back for me. It's great... More

Very accommodating and friendly staff. We decided to take a boat taxi rather than the 3 hour bus ride back to San Jose and it was well worth the money. The staff were very knowledgeable about the marine life. We saw a sea turtle and dolphins one our trip. Great business!

Zuma tours came and picked us up on our doorstep in Santa Teresa. The drive to Montezuma from the other side of the peninsula is very bumpy for the inexperienced driver and very expensive by taxi so definitely splurge on the extra fee for door to door pick up service. We went to 2 separate snorkeling locations for about 45min... More

We've used the shuttle tours to go from Quepos to Malpais, which is an extension of the Jaco-Montezuma shuttle boat option. They picked us up in time and without trouble at our hotel on the Playita (which includes a very bumpy steep hill to climb) and got us in time to the bost on the beach north of Jaco. Te... More

Zuma Tours took us from Jaco to Santa Teresa and from Montezuma to Alajuela. The ride was great in both directions (though the boat was rather late leaving Jaco), and the staff was very accommodating. Scuba diving at Isla Tortuga was a lot of fun. We went on a Sunday morning and were the only two people on the Scuba... More
