Good crew, crystal clear water, OK beach, but a bit boring

There wasn't much to see when we snorkeled, but the service of Zuma Tours was great. I would maybe book a different tour with them- great company, just not good sealife in the areas we went.

After a 30-minute ride from our hotel in Santa Teresa, we arrived in Montezuma shaken (not stirred). For those who know the roads, you'll understand. Berto greeted us and asked us to wait in the "office," small but at least air conditioned. The rest room is tiny and not particularly well maintained and the sink is "in the back." Victor... More

In March I used Zuma for a pick up in San Jose to Jaco for the water taxi and back again to San Jose. I loved the water taxi, we go to see dophins and sting rays from the boat. Zuma tours where very professional and punctual. I can not wait to use them again, and would recommend them. I... More

I use the water taxi service from Jaco to Montezuma every time I am in Costa Rica, which is at least once a year. I have never had a problem with the service, in fact I have no complaints at all. Taking the water taxi saves hours of over land travel, plus you're on the water, the staff seems to... More

We used their water taxi service to travel from Montezuma to Jaco to continue on our travels down the coast. They were very professional in all of our dealings with them. The ride was scenic and fun!

So for $55 a person, you get an activity to do from about 9am-5pm! Can't beat that. We got about 2 hours total beautiful boat ride, about 2 hours total of awesome scuba near Tortuga Island. Then they feed you a great chicken/fish lunch with beer at beautiful Tortuga island. You get 2 hours of free time on White sand... More

We used Zuma Tours water taxi to get from Jaco to Montezuma and vice versa. It was a little over an hour boat ride and we were there! Great option. I suggest booking ahead to make it easy (though not necessary). The way there was smooth sailing. The way back was incredibly wavy and we got wet (our luggage did... More

Easy reservations by PayPal or CreditCard via their website -- then a friendly follow-up email by a Zuma representative. I only used the Jaco to Montezuma (ida/vuelta - round-trip) service by fast boat, but based on that experience, I can confidently write a positive review and recommend their services. Zuma picks you up at your hotel or hostel in Jaco... More

I reached out to Zuma tours to book some of our transportation and the Isla Tortuga tour. They were very professional, on-time and went above and beyond to provide a great service. During our first leg of the trip from Jaco to Montezuma I left a bag in the first car and did not realize this until we arrived in... More

I have used Zuma several times. On my most recent trip we participated in the snorkel package to Isla Tortuga. This is a full day of fun. A 45 minute boat ride up the coast, then two 45 minutes free snorkel dives followed by a delicious grilled lunch on the beach. On this particular day the grilled fish was marlin,... More
