Firstly let me say that if you are going to do this tour you need sneakers or closed toe shoes. Flip flops are definitely not a great idea(speaking from experience) Our guide JC from Sun Tours was excellent. He was knowledgable about the area, wildlife and vegetation. He had a great sense of humor and to top it off he... More

We swam with tourists and local in the huge pool under the main falls. Hike is about 15 minutes and I would wear tennis shoes.

N09° 39.018' W85° 04.181' (WGS84) (parking area) There is a little parking area run by a older man. Costs ₡1000 ($1.84 USD) to park. You start to hike to the waterfall. It's about 0.3 mi. But it is not well marked. There is yellow & orange paint markings. Need decent shoes as you go along a stream and have to... More

Zip lining here is totally AWESOME! This was my first time zip lining, and the staff made it a very pleasant experience. At the end of the first 6 lines, we were given the option of taking a dive in the pool formed by the waterfalls. Then we continued on to the last 3 lines, with the last being the... More

There are 3 places to jump, a 15 foot rock, a 40 foot drop, and a rope swing. All had clearly labeled areas from where to jump to be safe which was nice. The water was cool and refreshing although looked kinda like mud. I was warned so it didn't phase me in the least.

There was two well-marked places to jump from the falls. One about 10 feet and one about 40 feet. The water was muddy from all the rain but very refreshing! Definitely go here.

My two friends and I just hiked to the bottom waterfall. It was a bit more inaccessible than we had anticipated. The path from the trailhead only exists for like three minutes before it ends. Then you have to climb over slippery rocks to the other side of the river. We were confused about which way to go, but some... More

We couldn't believe how majestic and beautiful it was after 4-wheeling to here, then hiking to the top of the falls. I jumped off the first one which wasn't very deep, but still scared me as I'm not a great swimmer. Regardless, plenty of people around, all giving tips on best jumping point etc. No fear :) Except for the... More

The climb was a little daunting particularly as I came unprepared wearing jandals. It was worth it though at the top, a great waterhole for swimming, jumping off rocks etc. There are stairs to get down although you have to pay the guy to use so remember to bring some $. Would not recommend doing this on your own as... More

We took an ATV tour to the waterfall and then jumped in and swam around for awhile. It had rained really hard the night before, so our tour guide advised us maybe jumping off the 30' waterfall wouldn't be a great idea. We jumped off the 15' waterfall which seems much scarier than it really is before you do it.... More
