A nice trek and worth it! Wear water shoes! Our tour was guided and I highly recommend that if you are not from the area or an avid hiker.

You can jump into the second level waterfall, and there is a tarzan-like swing for the mini waterfall. This was my favorite part of the trip. Go earlier in the morning when there are less people.

Our family walked to the falls from our hotel (El Sano Bonano). The trail was easy to find. Two of our party wore trainers, and I wore Teva sandals. This was a big mistake on my part because the trail was very rocky/muddy, and many of the rocks were slippery with mud or algae. Visiting the 3 falls was one... More

We hiked (no tour guide & with a 2 year old strapped to my back) all the way up to the top of the waterfall and it was such a fun experience. Takes about 15-20 minutes from downtown to get all the way there, and once you do, the water is so refreshing! Make sure you wear good sturdy shoes... More

Cool & refreshing...after a long walk through the jungle...fun jump off rocks into cool, refreshing waterfall. Ran into Matt Damon on the way out!

Hiking from the top to the bottom is easier than going from the bottom there is a shuttle that will take you to the Canopy Tour entrance and a pass to use their well maintained trails. $8 dollars per person is a deal you can also walk up the road to the tour entrance and just pay $4 pp to... More

We had so much fun swinging from the rope and jumping from the cliffs. The water was refreshing after the the short hike in the warm and humid weather.

Pay the $4.00 and do the hike. Well worth it! The jungle interpretive hike is interesting and the complete hike to swim in the pools around the falls, while a bit physically challenging, is a must do in the area.

Quite a good hike to get to the bottom falls on foot, and then a further hike up to the upper falls where you can jump. Make sure you are jumping from a marked location, and ask the locals if there have been any reports of injuries from submerged rocks lately (there had not been any, as far as I... More

It's a nice hike down to the first swimming area where you can jump off the cliffs and swing from a rope into the water. We were pretty tired from ATVing for 2 hours when we arrived so we didn't hike down to the larger falls, and I'm glad we didn't as the hike back up wasn't easy. I'm typically... More
