The water was very refreshing and cool for the hot time of day. the country side was worth the walk down and the "fee" of $4.00

If you find yourself in tiny Montezuma, and you are tired of lazing on the beach, this waterful is a must. it is an easy, fun hike and the water is beautiful. I will always have a special place in my heart for this waterfall--- it helped me to meet my future wife and her friends. :)

We were recommended to drive to the top of the falls hike and hike down to the falls rather than start at the bottom. Starting from the bottom was free, but heard it was pretty treacherous and difficult. Usually my husband don't shy away from a challenge like this, but we had surfing lessons that afternoon and didn't want to... More

I was there with my family and due to my daughter being disabled, we stayed in the bottom pool, which was great and refreshing. The others took off to the top, which is a scramble and flip flops are not recommended. Great waterfall and diving, as long as you take advice and stay safe!

A great way to spend a day while in Montezuma. Hike up the river from the main road and enjoy the lower pool. If you are so inclined and energetic, you can continue the hike up to the top two pools and enjoy the scenery from up there.

Didn't love hiking, it was hot but DID love (and was the 'cookie') jumping in to the pools at bottom of the falls

My husband and I hiked up to the "lower" falls, and were not disappointed. :) The hike can be tricky for people who are not sure footed or easily daunted. There are a couple points where you must use a small rope to either climb down/up safely or to not fall over. haha I loved the scenery while hiking up... More
