WATERFALLS ZIP LINE TOURS The canopy consists of a series of 9 cables, 13 platforms that are suspended high above the forest floor. While on the canopy tour you will see a number of plants and animals unique to Costa Rica, possibly including howler and white-faced monkeys, parrots, iguanas and much more. During the tour we stop at the famous waterfalls where you can take pictures and go for a swim in the pools carved by the cascading waters. After that we´ll stop in Montezuma, so you can have some time to shop and look around.

My wife and I wanted to hike to the falls but did not want to do the hike from the bottom up. We found out you could pay Canopy Tour $4 to use their trail from the top down. It was a neat hike over the free swinging expansion bridges. It was mostly down hill going in, so the hike... More

The zip line tour is a Costa Rica must do. These guys run a 15 step your over Montezuma Falls. Unique experience over a beautiful venue The zip your crew was professional and fun. Safety was obvious in there every move which is important to the experience A fair amount of step climbing is required so be in reasonable shape... More

Spent a Sunday afternoon ziplining with sun tours. The guides were excellent and very safety conscious. I would advise however the trip down to the waterfall and back to resume ziplining is very steep and approximately 150 stairs. I am 56 and tend to go to the gym 1-2 times a week and I was very winded. Not a problem... More

We had a great time zip lining here. The staff seemed well trained and made us feel comfortable. I believe that there were 12 platforms, but some were very short. The stop at the waterfall was great, ans some jumped into the pool below. At the end of the excursion, we had the option to purchase a disc with photos... More

I booked online in advance. It seems we might not have needed to as it didn't affect the price, however throughout our trip it was hit or miss whether we were on a full tour or a solo tour with different activities, so if you only have a sliver of time make the reservation online. It also helps to book... More

I went with my mom and neither of us had been on a zip line before. The guides were reassuring and we felt very safe the whole time. The views were great and a dip in the waterfall was refreshing. Great way to access the top of the waterfall rather than climbing from the bottom. I recommend the 9am tour-... More

Went with my 7 year old daughter who initially was zip lining with a guide. She had so much fun, they let her go alone, and we felt safe with her doing that. The guides are careful and nice. There are about 3 longer zip lines and several shorter ones. The experience in the canopies was lovely, and we saw... More

This was my first time zip lining on a course not in the United States and it was excellent. I felt safe and secure the entire time, and the guides were easygoing and fun. I do wish that we had a bit more time/more lines to zip, because it was so amazing! The waterfall piece breaks up the tour nicely.... More

We live in the midwest and we have a zip line course near Dubuque, Iowa that is just as good, OK, so you can't catch a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean or swim in a waterfall pool, but otherwise pretty much the same aspect flying through a tree covered area. And the stairs, OMG, the guy putting on my harness... More

My boyfriend and me booked the tour because it was recommended in the lonely planet. I have no other tour to compare it with but I thought it was really good fun. The guys from suntrails were really sweet and nice taking care of your before, after and during the tour. The office where the tour starts is a bit... More
