Selvatura Park offer a round trip so they pick you up at your hotel and drop you off, with various shuttle buses throughout the day. At the park there are a number of activities, plus a restaurant, so you can spend as much or as little time up there as you like. We did the ziplining and suspension bridges. The... More

My husband and I drove around Costa Rica for 10 days, and this was one of our favorite activities of the trip! The good: 1. Enthusiastic staff of young men who led us on a zip line canopy tour. It was clear that they enjoyed their jobs, and they made sure to ensure the safety of everyone in our group.... More

It's been a while (over 6 months!), but I'll do my best to recall the details. My wife and I did the suspension bridges and enjoyed them immensely. There was a good number of them, and some of them were a fair length. Between the bridges the paths were very well maintained and had steps where helpful. Some of the... More

I'm pretty scared of heights & managed to panic myself reading bad reviews beforehand but I wanted to do the zip lining with my husband as I could tell he was desperate to do it & I didn't want to be a killjoy & knew I'd probably enjoy it in the end. I did get the fear after the first... More

Selvatura has it all; do as much as you can! The hanging bridges walk was peaceful and jaw-dropping. Take your time, and do it FIRST thing in the morning; less people, quieter and a great way to digest your four-course breakfast (from Casa Batsu) and enjoy your coffee. Go zip lining. It will blow your mind. Pay the extra $$... More

Coming from Los Suenos, the drive took a bit of time....with the 'most interesting' being the final 25km. Think side of a mountain with no guardrail on a gravel/dirt path. Well worth the trip though! The park is beautiful. Hummingbirds, suspension bridges and zip lining were activities we enjoyed. I am afraid of heights....and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Anthony and... More

This was my first Zip line experience and it was great. The guides were outstanding, very patient and caring. Made everything comfortable. I'm 68 and there was some uphill walking, but the guides told me just to take it slow and were so nice about it. They never rushed us. The zip lining was exhilarating and the forest below is... More

We chose to spend our one full day in Monteverde here at Selvatura at the advice of the woman at the reception desk of our hotel. We're glad we took her advice. We are very much nature lovers and photographers so we were able to spend the better part of a day slowly making our way across the 8 suspension... More

As a long time dreamer of being able to experience zip lining, what better a place to do so other than where the activity is claimed to have originated from, Costa Rica! After hours researching the top canopy tours, I had narrowed it down to two company's :Selvatura and another which had offered rappelling as well. Although it was a... More

Monteverde is all about nature. When you tire of nature walks, Selvatura Park is a nice diversion. I'm not a big fan of doing activities like ziplining while on vacation (it's not like it's a great way to get to know a country or its people) but I admit it was fun. If you're thinking of going just for the... More
