It is a walk to enjoy with a total of eight suspended walkways to cross of varying heights and lengths. A fair variety of birds even though it was very misty and wet at times. Just as we were at the end and just as the rains really arrived we were lucky enough to come on a group of Howler... More

Friendly and helpful staff. The rides were thrilling. The Hanging Bridges were okay but we saw very little wildlife. The hummingbird garden was amazing...they landed on our fingers!

I would not go to the bridges without a guide (we had one from another company); the views from the bridges are good but I don't think they are worth 30$ per person. However, with a competent guide, the bridges are the perfect place to learn about the canopy. Instead of begin told about something that is 150 feet above... More

We did the hanging bridges and zip line tours. Worth doing ... at least once! We had a lot of fun. Can't see wildlife from "up there" but it offers an unusual perspective. No regrets at all.

The three of us took the Canopy Tour (ziplining) and the Hanging Bridges with Selvatura. This was our third time that we did ziplining and it was definitely the worst, except for the Tarzan swing and the Superman. The crew was hurrying us all the time since they have to many people doing the zipline. We felt like on a... More

Booked the ziplining and Tarzanswing tour through this company. It was an amazing experience and I will probably never be able to repeat it. Literally ziplining through the cloudsso fast my face was moving like I was skydiving :). However my experience at the very end with the picture and video station was not great. I wanted to purchase the... More

The best part of the experience at Salvetura was the hummingbird garden. We saw at least four different species. I personally do not think that the bridges walks are worth the money. If you are interested in wildlife, especially birds take a walk in the Monteverde Reserve or one of the others near by and hire a guide. You will... More

We hiked this beautiful reserve with Francisco Munoz Lopez, from Deep In The Forest Tours. He was the best naturalist we encountered in Costa Rica! His knowledge of the flora and fauna was amazing. We were each given our own set of binoculars. We saw many birds and animals. He kept us all engaged for 4 hours (including my 2... More

Took the ziplining tour the week after Christmas.Went with my husband and 24 year old son. Bought tickets at office in Santa Elena the day before that included van transportation from our lodging. We bought a package that also included the suspension bridges and the butterfly garden. Got there early in the morning and got on the tour relatively quickly.... More
