Chances are that 99.9% of you are going to have a wonderful, event free time ziplinging. We did - enjoying the amazing cloud forest canopies, beautiful aspect, and the fact that you are ziplining through the actual cloud forest reserve itself. But I have to warn you that something went wrong on our tour. I felt a little hesitant from... More

We took our tour guide's rec to combo the zipline and hanging bridge for $70. I don't say this much, but it was worth every penny. Awesome, scream-inducing ziplines offering both incredible scenery and length. Super friendly and accommodating staff made sure safety was #1 and thrills were #1b. Hanging bridges had jaw-dropping vistas and offered tree-top vistas and up... More

At the very least, buy the zipline package. It's worth it for that alone. If you have more time in the day, and can swing it (hahahah), then go for one of the other tours bundled together. There are a bunch of places that you can see butterflies and snakes, etc - so weigh that into your consideration, but the... More

Here early Oct 2014. This is the best zipline in CR. Great value. The new "superman" option on the zipline is fantastic and not to be missed. 1 kilometer flying through (and above) the jungle. We did it in the rain and it was Fantastic! Recommend you Book the cloud forest package. Butterfly enclosure, hummingbird garden (fantastic! They land on... More

Great Canopy line. Long cables, fun guides, great views. The longest cables let's you go for a whole minute! The reception staff is not from the charming side, but they take your money anyway and the canopy guides are fun - so that's what counted for me. They even filmed my tarzan swing for me :-)

In brief: The suspended bridges will blow you away, as will seeing all of the growing and living things in the forest. The pros: -Unguided tour meaning you can go at your own pace -Cost per person was $35 including hummingbird garden -Cost includes transportation to/from the park -Hummingbird garden allows you to see birds of all kinds -Really amazing... I took the skytram and skywalk tour here. Since I did the canopy tour at Arenal I skipped the skytrek. The tour guide was nice and informative. He always offered to take pictures of us individually. He took great photos and makes sure gets more than shot to be sure. Crossing the bridges was the highlight of this tour. It... More

There were two guides who were rude and condescending tome and other customers in the group. This guy was Allan and the other w braces looked like thru hated every minute of what they were doing. They rushed us and even yelled at me once because he said I didn't brake early enough. My first time I asked for clarification... More

We went on the 11:00 canopy tour yesterday and from the reviews on Trip Advisor, I was expecting much more than what was actually delivered. From the very beginning, the whole experience felt very rushed. First was the gear fitting. I was brusquely put into a harness, one of the employees tightened it to the point that I had difficulty... Great place to spend a few hours and it was our favorite activity in Monteverde. The bridges and zip lines at this park seemed extremely secure and well maintained which is important when you are suspended so high in the air. Though there were a lot of people, the park is large enough for you to still feel secluded. It... More
