okay we saw some animals which we maybe wouldn't have seen without this tour but I wouldn't recommend it. The tour guide was really annoying telling us all the time that these animals are soooo unbelievable rare and that you can only see them in Monteverede and you have to be really excited and lucky, bla bla... We were walking... More

There are many night tours here in Monteverde, we used the ficas night walk. The guide was very knowledgeable, funny and interesting. There is so much to see at night, and a trained eye can find the scorpions, poisonous snakes, tarantulas, and numerous birds. They supplied us with a flashlight. I would not recommend taking a small child, they may... More

Interesting walk through the jungle at night, saw a few interesting animals that we wouldn't have been able to see during the day. Pretty expensive though and the trails weren't that extensive which made it feel crowded. Probably wouldn't do it again.

This was a delight! At night you get to see the cloud forest and all it's nocturnal creatures and those sleeping. We saw quetzal, tarantula, crickets, owl, bat and so much more! Juan Carlos, our guide, was AMAZING!!!

We saw many animals, but there were too many people together in a very small jungle. It did not feel like a special trip to me

The whole tour felt really fake. You can see a slought, a snake and a tarrantula. Its fun that the guide makes nice pictures, which is not possible in a regular zoo. If you do not mind the pictures, you better go to the zoo :-).

but for us it was very touristy and first time we had to stand in line to get to see what we wanted, nevertheless it's a crazy drive up there and no matter what kind of a car or bus or are going with. once up there is lots to do all a bit pricy. We spend 2 days and... More

It's a bit of a circus as there are lots of groups in a reasonably small section of jungle. They call each other when they see something so you'll most likely see a sloth, tarantula, snakes and few other things. Worth doing one evening

We had the chance to see sloth, toucan, snake, frog, impressive bugs, ... The guide was really good, it was nice to see the forest in a whole different way. The cost is reasonable (about 23$) for a 2 hour tour.
