Randall our tour guide was amazing! Such a nice guy and very intelligent. Gave us a lot of history and made us feel so welcomed and safe! Price included snacks, lunch, drinks, and our pictures! We did horseback riding before but NOTHING like this experience! A must do!

This tour is operated by Randal who is a kind and knowledgeable person. He picked us up at our accommodation in Manuel Antonio and drove us to his farm which was about 40 minutes away. He lead us on a memorable tour through rolling hills and streams. The horses were very gentle and you can ride at your own pace... More

The farm owner's son Randall operates the horse riding business and is one of the more sincere and kind people you are likely to meet. He picked us up on time at our house and drove us to the ranch. While on the way we were offered a stop for fresh fruit. The trip took about 35 minutes from where... More

This small-family operation was a highlight in our recent Costa Rica trip. The family, represented by Randall (one of the owner's sons) leads a breathtaking tour on horseback through the family's rolling hills and little cliffs. The horses are easy and there is none of that staying in a perfect line with them: you may ride at your own pace.... More

Thoroughly enjoyable. I 've only ridden twice before and not really enjoyed it, but this was fun and the scenery beautiful. Randall supplied fresh fruit, drinks and then a Casado for lunch. Take swimmers as there's an opportunity for a very welcome dip in a waterfall pool. A full mornings enjoyment.

I would use another company, as this company just cancelled on me at 3:30pm the day before my family was to take their tour at 7:45am tomorrow morning. I believe that the only reason that they even cancelled via email was because I sent them an email asking them to confirm our pickup time. They replied by saying that they... More

I've been on many horseback riding adventures in my travels, so I've had plenty of experiences to determine if the ride was bad or not. While the people who own the ranch are extremely nice people, I wouldn't particularly recommend this ride. All the horses that were used in my group- which was fairly big- seemed malnourished. The hip bones... More

Hi dear Visitor, Thank you so much for visit us, I just want to let you know in costa rica we have a different kinds of horses, we have around 300 acres in our farm and our horses always have freedom eating on all the farm so is almost impossible that our horses be malnourished, we cross creeks on three... We visited the ranch on July 31st. Randall was amazing. We were picked up on time, offered fruit and drinks on the drive to the ranch and given a history lesson of the area-- from the town of Quepos to the palm plantation and the family ranch. Randall is very knowledgeable and it was a very enjoyable experience learning about... More

This was our favorite activity on our Costa Rica trip. We rode horses, hiked in the rain forest, saw poison frogs, learned about the native trees and plants, ate fruit off the trees, took a dip in a mountain stream, got a massage from a chilly waterfall, learned fascinating folklore, and ate a perfect lunch to end a perfect tour.... A wonderful outing and a great chance to see Costa Rican life. Randall and his father are very welcoming. It was our 7 year old son's first horseback ride and Randall's father led his horse through out the entire tour to make sure he was at ease. The tour was fascinating, the waterfall amazing and the food delicious.
