I'm a first-time surfer who took a 3-hour lesson with Jesse while my wife and teenage twins relaxed on the beach and did some boogie boarding and monkey watching. Jesse gave me some quick but effective instruction on land and then we grabbed a long board and headed out to the waves. Within a few minutes, I was standing and... More

Dante's was great for my family. We had three kids take surf lessons from Dante's and also rented two paddle boards. They were excellent teachers, very accommodating, and had very good equipment. If you are going to learn to surf, do it in Costa Rica where the water is warm and the waves are predictable. If you are going to... More

Great Surfing lessons, our boys (13 and 9) really enjoyed the coach and learned out to surf quickly. The staff was exceptional and took great care of us. Highly recommend!

We just came back from 5 days in Manuel Antonio . My husband wanted to to a surf lesson and we booked through our hotel. Dante Surf School is the best you can get! The guys are fun, helpful and amazing teachers! I stayed on the beach and watched the way they would interact with the people, laugh make people... More

We just finished up a great morning at dante's water sports. My family (mom, dad, kids: 13; 9;6) had never surfed before and this was a great first experience. Our driver promptly picked us up at our hotel and took us to the beach where the kids could boogie board for awhile before we started. Then they showed us how... More

Taking surfing lessons with Dante's water sport at Manuel Antonio was perfect for our 4 kids 12, 15, 18 and 20 and us. They were very attentive, friendly and fun. They were also very flexible with our schedule and our needs and very safe. A huge plate of fresh fruit and water bottles at a break was great. Thank you... More

Took the nephews to learn to surf and they were up and riding almost immediately. Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly which was great. They started out teaching the basics on the beach and then moved to the water. The beauty of the beach and area plus learning to surf made the whole experience awesome. They had a blast!

Dante and team were amazing instructors for our 7 and 10 year old kids. Highly recommend them for kids and adults. It was the first time my kids had surfed and Dante chose a great beginner beach just outside Manuel Antonio Park. The kids got up within their first couple tries! When my wife and I went surfing Dante took... More
