I attended one of Roys tours with a group from Canada in March 2015. The whole process from questions prior to attending, to the actual tour was an absolute pleasure. Roy collected us from the Airport Hotel, San Jose and from there on the entire trip was just superb! Nothing was left out and the entire trip was run like... More

We had Roy to ourselves at Manuel Antonio Park. He is friendly, well-spoken, and thoroughly knowledgeable. We saw two- and three-toed sloths, squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and a variety of bats, birds, amphibians, and insects. I enjoy birds and was thrilled to discover that Roy is an avid watcher. When he spotted a particular hummingbird, he pulled out his tablet... More

This was my second year in a row booking Roy Orozco for a photography tour. This year, I was with another friend who is a wildlife/ photography guide in the Pacific Northwest. Just as last year, the trip was amazing. Toucans, Quetzals, Hummingbirds, Honeycreepers, Tree Frogs, Sloths, Macaws…..the list is endless. Roy is such a joy to be with. Mainly... More

Roy is personable, knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. We saw monkeys, sloths, interesting lizards and colorful insects we never would have spotted on our own. Well maybe the white faced monkey who wanted one of our bags, but he had forewarned us to be on the watch. He is clearly respected by the other guides. I'd highly... More

Roy is very knowledgable and clearly passionate about nature in general and Manuel Antonio park in particular. With his help we were able to spot animals and insects we would never have noticed without him. He takes great pictures with your iPhones through his telescope. Pick up was very punctual (unlike us). We also decided to stay in the park... More

Roy was an excellent tour guide. We traveled one hour north from Uvita to take his tour of Manuel Antonio. We saw sloths, spiders, birds, lizards, etc. The day we toured was extremely hot, humid and crowded. My daughter was upset with me because I failed to pack swimsuits for the swimming beach midway through the tour. We left early... More

Toured Manuel Antonio park in March with Roy as our guide. He arranged transportation from our cruise ship to the meeting point and led our small group on a morning tour through the park. He stopped numerous times to show us wildlife through his telescope that provided very close-up views. Without the scope, you can only see a small blob... More

We had such a great tour with Roy, who was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about nature and wildlife. Roy took into account special interests of the group and customized the guide accordingly. We really appreciated the tour of the park and felt that it truly enhanced our experience.
