Trip was fantastic! We were picked up promptly at our hotel, taken to the main shop where we had a great breakfast while the bus was loaded up with the rafts/equipment. The guides were funny, entertaining and really made the experience that much better. The river was fairly calm given the dry season, but Ivan our guide still made it... More

We've done the 10 in 1 tour twice now on two separate trips. The ADR guys are fantastic guides and the adventure they have planned out is always a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Thank you Ramirez, Carlos, and all of the guys at ADR!

One of my favorite days by far! After being served lunch, (arroz con pollo, black beans and tea) we were off on a 2 hour drive to the top of the Sevegre River. The staff(Chainy, Romain, and others) were knowledgable and funny. We saw palm oil farms, scary spiders, and a great rest stop at a small village. Our trip... More

This is our 2nd River Rafting with Amigos del Rio - in 2009 and then today March 2015. For both times, it was a highlight of our Costa Rica trips, with different friends. The guides are extremely informed, experienced (two staff members were employed both visits), extremely friendly, helpful and funny. There is breakfast, snack and lunch served - was... More

We did the 10 in 1 with ADR. What a rush!!! They were VERY safety orientated. Did this with our kids (12 & 8), everyone enjoyed every step of the adventure. They even were great at getting me through one of my fears knowing I could do it. And didn't want me to miss out on any part of it.... More

Our family of 11 went rafting with ADR and enjoyed every part of it. The Staff we had (Chainy, Ivan, Kenneth) were amazing. Chainy did an excellent job explaining the local environment on the ride to the river (oh thanks to the excellent bus driver too). All of the staff were professional, friendly and truly interested in our safety. Nice... More

We did the afternoon session down the Sevegre on Monday 2/16/2015. A couple of the guys came to our villa to pick us up, which was great. They took us to their office for "lunch" which was really just iced tea, yellow rice with a tiny bit of chicken, a few vegetables and a paltry looking salad. So don't go... More
