This was the best experience so far I had in my life. I was so scared about this tour but once I meet the tour guides I got more calm . They were so nice and informative. We started with a great breakfast and then on the way to the river they explained about different animals, plants etc. We had... More

Our tour guides were friendly and informative. They started us with a delicious breakfast. On the way to the river, they told us about the different communities, wildlife, crops, etc. that we were passing. Our guide was experienced and fun. He helped us enjoy the thrill of whitewater rafting taking into account that some of us liked 5's and others... More

We are a couple in our early 60s. The rafting was on the Savegre river. Very beautiful high mountain slopes from the river, and exciting rapids/pools alternating for 7 miles down river. We had excellent safety instruction. Alos an emphasis on fun and enjoyment. A perfect balance. Recommended.

We did two tours with Amigos del Rio and loved them both. The first one was the high adrenaline zip line tour. Great variety in activities, awesome guides. Gustavo, Erlan, Pollo and Lester were very professional and fun. Knowledge of the area, flora and fauna was great and well presented. They know their stuff! The scenery on their course is... More

We are a family of five, kids are in their 20's. We had so much fun on this tour. Not only was it exciting, but we learned a great deal about the history, nature and culture of Costa Rica and it's people. Our "guide", Anthony, was fantastic. We didn't know how hard he was working in the raft until we... More

Our tour guide Kenneth was fun and respectful. He had tricks and laughs up his sleeve to make even the bus ride enjoyable. I felt very safe. I would recommend this trip to everyone. Buy the pictures at the end, you will never take as good of pictures and they are amazing photos of an unforgettable tour. We hesitated buying... More

I've been white water rafting once, in Peru, but the experience I had with Amigos Del Rio totally blew it out of the water! I went with 4 other girlfriends for our first time in Costa Rica. I had booked the trip before I had arrived in Costa Rica simply by just googling white water rafting tours in Manuel Antonio.... More

My husband and I booked this as our very first excursion during our anniversary trip. I had not gone rafting since a child and I must say, this was the best experience I could have hoped for. My husband and I felt safe the entire time and we really liked that we were allowed to jump out and swim/float at... More
