Our tour guide Juan was excellent. I could not believe the animals or creatures he found for us to look at. He also was very educated in local botany and zooology so was able to tell you a lot about the animals. We saw sloths, 3 types of monkeys, coati's, tucans aside from other things. The walk was long but... More

Manuel Antonio is a beautiful place and Paul was definitely a capable guide. He was able to point out a lot of wildlife that we would have missed and gave us plenty of stories about the local flora and fauna and the park itself. Paul was entertaining, but at the end of the tour I looked back and felt kind... More

My family just went on the Manuel Antonio hike and Mangrove Tour with Paul as our guide. Incredible person, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all of Costa Rica's Flora and Fauna. He spotted rare species of animals hiding in the forest that are completely invisible to your normal human being. Highly, highly recommended!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and booked the mangrove boat tour directly with the owner Paul. He was extremely knowledgeable about the mangroves and the wildlife that inhabits the area. He has a keen eye for spotting animals so well hidden in the mangroves. This is a relaxing boat tour where you get to see monkeys up... More

We went on Manuel Antonio Expeditions to Damas Island Mangrove boat tour with Paul Gonsalves this week and had a super fun time. My daughter really wanted to see a silky anteater on our trip to Costa Rica. Paul came through and found one for her. it was the size of a softball and up in a tree sleeping, there... More

Our group has just returned from a trip to Manuel Antonio and we used the services of Paul Gonsalves after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. Paul provides an excellent guided tour through the national park and the mangrove swamps. His english is perfect and he is a wealth of knowledge. He takes his own spotting telescope on the tours... My husband Chris and I visited Costa Rica for the first time this past December. I set up the Damas mangrove tour with Paul prior to our trip via email, and everything was arranged very smoothly and easily. We were picked up at our hotel in Manuel Antonio by the tour group's van and made the short drive to the... More

The guide was very knowledgable. Manuel Antonio National Park is absolutely beautiful. So many animals to see. After doing much research, I am so glad I choose this company. I highly recommend this attraction . When the hike is over, I recommend hanging out at Beach 3 in the park,
