When in Costa Rica, this is a park that is well worth the visit! BUT YOU NEED A GUIDE and the one we had was phenomenal. His name is WILBUR!!! He was very educated and he definitely knew his stuff. Any guide also need a telescope so you can really enjoy the wildlife and see animals and insects close hand... More

We went on this tour with Jason (fantastic guide). He was incredibly knowledgable and tried his best to make the tour appeal to each individual's expectations. He knew a few of us were keen to see sloths and he didn't disappoint! We have been traveling throughout Central America for 5 weeks and I would say that Jason was by far... More

We weren't sure who to book when looking at all the options for the Manuel Antonio Park, but went with Manuel Antonio Expeditions. The walk through the rainforest was average, but to their credit the park was SO crowded it was hard to really deliver a great experience, although we did see quite a few animals. We loved the pineapple... More

Jason was amazing today. A rare gift he has to sense when there is a magnificent piece of nature being displayed. With out him you will have a beautiful walk but not a connection with all that hides from most human eyes.

During our two weeks in Costa Rica we went on three park tours, Corcovado, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio, and Manuel Antonio was by far the best. The reason it was so over the top for us were all the animals we saw and when I say "we saw", I use that term loosely because it was all Pablo and his... More

We did two tours with Manuel Antonio Expeditions: a mangrove tour and a Manuel Antonio Park day tour. In both experiences the guides were exceptional animal spotters, storytellers and guides. (One was paul g and I forgot the others' name) The first was the mangrove tour with paul where we were picked up by van and taken to our boat... More

If you go to Manuel Antonio National Park, all you will see is ... other people. However, with a guide, you get to see through their telescopes animals who are otherwise basically invisible because of their camouflage. Our guide Pablo (who had the added advantage of speaking flawless English) was basically a magician, who could see animals that were all... More

Juan Brenes was our naturalist guide and he did a wonderful job. He picked us up at our rental house. He took us to the park and then he led us through the park, pointing out animals and using his scope to show them to us. He also used the scope to take amazing photos with our camera. We have... Paul (I hope I've the name right) and Macho provided us an excellent tour to Mangroove island. Paul picked us up from hotel and then with Macho we went on a boat to the island. Paul provided finer details on Mangrooves, high and low tide, and pointed out many animals. He answered every questions with details and seemed passionate about what... More

This was a great way to see nature in Manuel Antonio National Park. The guide (Andres) was great, and spotted a bunch of animals (sloths, howler monkeys, toucans, crabs, bats, etc.) that we never would have seen on our own. Juan was very helpful with giving general advice for how to get to Manuel Antonio and what to do while... More
