We (Alabama / Georgia ) literally just got back from our mangrove kayak tour with Pablo. He picked us up in his air conditioned van and provided an authentic (homey) Costa Rican lunch. Then we were off to the estuary for the tour. We saw a rare glimpse of a green tree boa and then headed into the canal. Pablo... More

This park is not filled with the monkeys and natural wildlife your hotel would tell you. It Is not filled with Toucan's and other rare birds. The Sloths that we saw were tucked away, and without binoculars you are not going to see them, as they are champs at hiding from people. It was $20.00 for the entry fee and... More

We did two tours with Pablo of Manuel Antonio Expeditions -- tour of Manuel Antonio Park and the evening boat tour of the mangrove forest. Both tours were very interesting and well done. We were able to see many different kinds of animals -- monkeys, sloths, and during the mangrove tour -- the rare silky anteater. You really need a... More

Our group of eight just returned from a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. We booked our tour of Manuel Antonio Park via email before we travelled to Costa Rica and Hazel responded very quickly and gave me all of the information that we needed. Since we had rental cars we decided to drive, so we met Juan at a restaurant... More

Manuel Antonio national park was fantastic! I decided not to get a guide and it was just fine. My friends decided to get a guide and they told me that he was nasty and finisihed the tour in 45 minutes. I saw a lot of monkeys, iguanas, insects, sloths, without the help of a guide, especially if he was nasty.... More

We were lucky enough to have Paul (pablo) as our guide through the national park. He was recommended to us by the owners of our hotel (Jungle Creek). He was spectacular! Paul has a good eye is very knowledgeable and experienced. He picked up up at our hotel right on time and drove us to the park. We got to... More

My family of four (2 parents, 2 adult children) went on two different and excellent tours led by this company. The first was a guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. Our guide, Jason, was fantastic. He was friendly, engaging and knowledgable. He pointed out many interesting plants and animals that we would have missed on our own. We saw... More

We booked thru jaco tours and paid $80 pp for adult and $70 for our 6 year old. They picked us up at 7:20 am and stopped about 45 mink terror gather fruit and a bottle of water for each of us. The tour operator said that we would have unlimited waters and snacks but that is not true. You... More

I took a Sunday morning tour and they said I was lucky because it wasn't that crowded. If that wasn't crowded, I don't want to see what it. Edgar was our guide and he was a lot of fun and pointed out lots of things we would certainly have missed seeing it we had walked in on our own. One... More

But don't be taken by locals trying to tell you there is no parking near the park entrance. Parking is always 2,000 Colones (must be mandated), but we got stopped quite a ways away from the park and walked. I love to walk but all the way along, there was parking here, there and everywhere. So if you get stopped... More
