Our Guide was fantastic!

This is a very gentle kayaking experience in a mangrove forest. If you enjoy kayaking, you will likely enjoy this experience of kayaking in the estuary of the Damas River. The setting is very peaceful and there is a great beauty in gliding on a small river with a mangrove forest of all sides. You cannot do this on your... More

The other couple that went with us visited Manuel Antonio National Park the day before and said that we shouldn't get a guide because they only pointed out leaves. Boy were they wrong! Edgar met us near the beach and we walked to the entrance. He seems well known as the vendors talked to him and were not bothering us... More

First of all, the tour of the park and guides knowledge was excellent. A great way to see the park with a great company. But my review does not stop at the tour. After the tour we wanted to do some extra hiking and our hotel couldn't accommodate us with a ride back from town - their shuttle was full... More

Our guide was Paul (Pablo) and he really did his best to make it an experience. I was especially interested in sloths so he made sure that we spotted about six sloths before the tour ended. The parc itself is a bit crowded but compared to other parcs in Costa Rica we spotted way more animals so it is worth... More

If you go without the guide you will not see the wildlife. The guided tour (Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly) is completely worth it. He can find the sloths, monkeys, tree racoons, nesting owl, bat, tarantula, birds.....He carries a scope and finds them and then shows them to you up close.

Our family of three toured MA with Pablo and Cokey on Saturday, 6/20. The guides were amazing and helped us spot three different monkey species, 2- and 3-toed sloths, as well as many birds, baths, and reptiles. We had not planned on a guided tour of the park but our hotel proprietor (Paula at Jungle Creek) advised us it was... More

You have to take the Mangrove tour in Manuel Antonio with these guys. Our guide had a very uncanny ability to spot animals from a mile away. We got VERY UP CLOSE and personal with the white faced monkeys, saw the mating ritual of the "Jesus Christ" lizard, and bats just hanging out. Overall a great experience.

We had a great tour of Manuel Antonio with Paul Gonsalves today. He has been guiding for over 20 years and it was quite obvious that he was THE GUIDE to be with - Other guides were repeatedly following his superhuman ability to spot any mammal, reptile or insect that would have otherwise been bypassed. Even before we entered the... More

My husband and I booked a private tour with Paul Gonsalves through our hotel (Jungle Creek) and our experience was absolutely worth every penny. If you want to walk through the park but are worried about missing wildlife, tour guide Paul is your guy!! We stopped and looked at maybe 15-20 animals, and we would have missed all of them... More

Pablo is a great guide, he is knowledgeable of the area and showed us a lot of wild life as well as many species of plant life. The tour was interesting and fun! There is another guide that works with this company who neglected to pick me up twice. I only recommend Paul/ Pablo
