My husband and I took the horseback riding tour on the beach and were the only ones riding that afternoon. You could also sign up for a riverbed horseback ride so be sure to specify which one you are interested in. The ride itself was beautiful. Playa Palo Seco was picture perfect. It’s a beautiful beach lined with the ocean... more

I thought this tour group was excellent. All the guides were great, knowledgable and friendly. Transportation was clean and reliable. And most importantly all the excursions were fun! We did a hike of Manuel Antonio National Park, Ocean Kayaking and Whitewater Rafting. During each excursion, they provided drinks, snacks and even a dinner. more

We visited Manuel Antonio for our 3rd time during the first week of June. This is the beginning of the rainy season, and we wanted to check out the rapids. Went on the white water trip and was purposely thrown out of the boat. My girlfriend knows Spanish and the boat guide actually had the gall to tell her that... more

We took the horseback tour with Iguana tours. The tour itself is lovely, through small farms and a riverbed to primary forest and a small, pretty waterfall. The guide obviously knows a lot about nature and did a nice job of explaining things. However, I had two major complaints. First, the horses were not in good enough condition for a... more

A great trip up until we got ripped off. Don't bring any of your belongings that you can't live without. These guys have it all planned from the minute they pick you. After the trip was completed, nearly half the tour had items/money stolen from their personal bags. The only person responsible for the bags was the driver. The only... more

We did the guided tour of Manuel Antonio Park and also the Isla Damas Kyack tour. Guides for both tours were excellent! I can't imagine going to the park without a guide. Sure it's beautiful and you see all kinds of things without the guide - but there were so many things we wouldn't have seen/learned without the guide and... more

Our whitewater rafting trip was amazing. We had so much fun on the Savegre River with Iguana Tours. The cost was $95 per person and included transportation, breakfast and lunch. Midway through the full-day rafting trip, we stopped and took a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. more

Iguana tours was very disorganized from the time they picked us up for a kayaking tour. Rather than take us out on the time they had agreed to, they took us to their office and made us wait over 2 hours so they could add us to a different tour. During our wait, my girlfriend sustained injuries while being robbed... more
