We booked the boat tour through the mangrove. We were really looking forward to this tour because it was our last day in Costa Rica. It was arranged that we were to be met at the top of the driveway of our rented villa at 1:00 pm. We sat up there until 2:00 pm. At 1:45 pm an Iguana Tour... More

First let me say... if you are in Costa Rica in the dry season there is NO point in planning on swimming in the waterfall - because there is NO water. The guide was adequate but very preoccupied with a guest she had brought on the trip the day we went. Most of the ride is on paved and dirt... More

The tour itself is great and we had a wonderful guide. A meal was included and was excellent also but it was about a half mile walk and we were only kind of given directions. Would have been nice if they had pointed it out on the way in when we drove by it. Our group made them write down... More

We used Iguana Tours to do a boat tour of the Damas Islands and Mangrove Forests. The guides (Randall) were wonderful and very informative. This was a lovely, relaxing way to see wildlife, and learn more about Costa Rica. We saw monkeys, snakes, birds, pigs, and more. The boat ride is very gentle (you can also kayak). They also served... Do not use this company. they will forget about you. You don't matter to them. We booked a boat tour and were left standing on the side of the road. They eventually told me "they forgot about us."

We totally enjoyed the Iguana Catamaran/Snorkel tour from Quepos. When we arrived, there was only 1 other couple on this large catamaran with a crew of 6 - 4 passengers. Despite the fact the boat was not filled to capacity due to being near the end of tourist season, they could have easily cancelled, but they did not. We had... More

We had a great experience rafting the Savegre River with Iguana Tours. From start to finish, our guides were professional, they kept us safe, and they made the day a very fun excursion. Josue was our guide, and seemed to really enjoying showing us his country, the landscape, the wildlife. I felt like all the people we met on the... More

We used iguana tours to raft down the Savegre River. They were awesome! The raft guides were great and made the trip super fun. Because it was the end of dry season, the river was only a class II but because we had Josue as our guide, the trip was still an adventure! He was hilarious and kept us laughing... More

Although we had a nice and thoughtful guide, and enjoyed our day, it is hard to get completely past the start of the trip. The people at the office sure give the impression that it is about the money first and the customer thereafter. It just feels like a tour company that has lost the personal touch. Also quite expensive... More

We choose the 2 man kayak over the boat tour and I was happy we did. It was our guide with 2 kayaks each with 2 people in them which was a nice intimate group. The white face capuchin monkeys were all over the trees and we could get close and they did get on top of one of the... More
