Where to begin. Did we have a good time? Yes.. AFTER we found out it was a booze cruise. It wasn't noted when I booked the tour. Not a big deal, but when I booked for snorkeling I didn't realize we would be on the boat for over TWO hours looking for dolphins and turtles. If I had known I... More

My friend and I went on the white water rafting tour on the savagre river with Iguana Tours and had a blast! A bus comes to your hotel to pick you up. All the guests are then deposited to their central hub and then wrangled into a larger 4 wheel drive bus. It's a rugged drive to the river, but... More

We did the catamaran tour on Aug 16th and it was just ok. Maybe it would be better in the afternoon/evening (sunset time) and not in the rainy season. Although it didn't rain, it was pretty overcast but the weather is not why I am giving this a 3. What bothered me about the tour is we literally just went... More

The 2 mile kayak trip included beautiful vistas of the coast through beautiful ocean water. The snorkeling was pretty poor in terms of seeing any fish unless you have never snorkeled before (my 12 year old daughter). Our guide was excellent and very accommodating to our small group. I had a lovely swim while my daughter finished her snorkeling. You... More

We took this relaxing, two-hour boat trip on our last afternoon in Costa Rica, and managed to see some animals we hadn’t seen yet including a cute fluffy anteater and a couple of boa constrictors, as well as some curious white-faced monkeys who were very interested in our boat. Our guide Randal was knowledgeable about the animals and got the... More

Began with a trecherous climb down a steep, wet, slippery rock wall to get to the kayaks. Kayaks were old, seats broken, no back support. Amazing that no of the excursion participants slipped or twisted an ankle. They need a path down to the kayak launching area. Guides spoke poor English, gave little help to those from 7 to 70... We went on the catamaran at Quepos. It was a wonderful experience. Extremely relaxing, excellent dinner, and so much fun getting to jump and slide off the boat and snorkel with the fishes. The staff were extremely friendly.

There were eight of us including my granddaughters ages 10,12, and 19 months. It was great to have an activity that the little one could do with us. She really did enjoy it, too. We took the early tour and were picked up from our villa at 5:30 am., right on time. Before the tour we had water and juice... More

Our family recently returned from a Costa Rican vacation. While in the Manuel Antonio region, we went whitewater rafting with Iguana Tours. The bus picked all 7 of us up on time and delivered us to their main facility in Quepos, where we boarded a different and more rugged bus to head into the jungle and up Rio Sevegre (Savage... More

We just returned from Costa Rica and highly recommend the nighttime Mangrove Tour. Great and informative guides took us on a fascinating tour that felt a little bit like being on a pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. We saw lots of wildlife then enjoyed a fabulous dinner. I highly recommend.
