And we are so fortunate to be able to provide professional-grade, bilingual, customer-focused, educational adventures that do just that. Our travel agent booked Iguana Tours for our Manuel Antonio tour. Our shuttle arrived right on time, and we were off to explore the park. Our guide was excellent, and he showed us so many little or big animals that we would not have seen if we had done the park on our own. In fact, I don't know how... More

If you're going to visit Manuel Antonio National Park, I would definitely recommend getting a guide. We did the tour through Iguana Tours and we wouldn't have seen any animals at all if not for our tour guide. He was able to find sloths, lizards and birds that I have no idea how he spotted, and then we were able... More

I was part of a group of three who took the night walk tour at the Wildlife Refuge on Manuel Antonio. The guide, Adrian, accompanied us. He was amazingly good at spotting the tiny leaf frogs, iguanas, insects, etc.in the dark. He was also kind enough to send me some of the photos he took that night. Thanks to Adrian... More

First off YOU MUST DO THIS... and most importantly.. you MUST have ROBERTO! There were 3 guides on this tour with us.. all very nice.. however I feel we were the luckiest bc we got Roberto. He shared so much history of the country, reaching out the windows along the way pulling local spices and plants for us smell (on... More

We did the park tour and mangrove tour and our guide was Andre for both. He was very good, spotting lots of stuff we would never have seen and sharing his knowledge. His english was excellent and he had a very good sense of humour. The tours were well organised, with pick ups on time. The meal after the mangrove... More

Our Manuel Antonio guide was Michael. He was fabulous. It was a short but excellent tour. Saw things we would not have seen on our own.. The night time mangrove tour was fabulous. A different sort of "must do tour". Saw all kinds of nocturnal species. Look into it early in your trip as it operates depending on the tides.... More

My husband and I took three tours with Iguana: a morning mangrove kayak tour, an afternoon tour of Manuel Antonio, and a sunset cruise that included snorkeling. I give the Manuel Antonio tour four stars, and the other tours two stars and one star respectively. In Manuel Antonio, our guide was a tad (!) strange (we cold not understand his... More

A mangrove tour was not top on my list of things to do but we decided to do this tour for my 73 year old dad and 8 year old son (who was getting a little tired after some more exhausting tours). It was a nice change of pace to just sit in the boat and enjoy the nature all... More

I booked the Manuel Antonio Tour directly with Iguana on a recommendation from a friend. Dennis was our guide and Jorge our driver. Although I had read many reviews that indicated you could tour the park on your own I am glad I choose not to. Dennis had an amazing telescope as well as his own eagle eyes! We saw... More

Our guide for the park tour was great, I think his name was George. The walk is quite slow and the park can be crowded in high season, but it was still well worth the education we got. We saw sloths, capuchins, lizards and he did a great job spotting everything and setting up the scope so we could see.... More
