A beautiful beach with villas, condos, hotels and entertainment establishments that make up the shore line. I just hope they continue to keep the beach clean. A beauty!

Lots of surfers to watch learning and practicing, good beach for strolling. Strong undertow, so be careful.

IT's a BEACH!!! swim! watch the surfers, learn to surf, horse back riding, fishing.... Sunsets and rises. gorgeous!! all around! Pura Vida!!!!

the only reason to go to this beach is for the little surf. Good beach surf for beginners and less experience surfers and a good beach to teach kids to surf...otherwise there are many other beaches close by that are prettier and cleaner

very very little shade, water is quite polluted, waves were an OK height for new surfers...lots of older teens and 20's, mostly men...I am told the night life is "party-time" and there is quite a bit of illegal drug use (But did not see any of it!) Fun beach for kids to surf. Sets come in and then it is pretty calm to paddle out. best going into high tide. No big rips. Waves get more power the further north you go. You can always find a spot for any skill of surfer at Jaco. Carton's has the best board rentals just up the road from most... More
