Located in Jaco, Costa Rica, which is about an hour and a Half from Puntarenas it is easy to get to over well maintained roads. The Aerial Tram is a great way to start your visit. For about 50 minutes you go up and down the mountain in a open tram car with a guide who points out what you... More

it is a nice trail by "gondola" (a kind of cable-railway) that travels the forest in different heights (the highest - 38 meters) and you can experience the forest as it really is - with its noises, smells, etc. in my view, it's a bit long (1.15 hours). there are other attractions that we didn't experienced there (omega, walking trails)... We went with two other couples on a "bar" crawl through the small villages of the rain forest. Most of the locals did not speak English but they were amazingly welcoming. Everyone knew Gibba and he made the trip. We happened upon a festival in one of the villages and found ourselves dancing with the locals. We swam in a... More

I loved the tour, the tran through the jungle and the friendly service but it is not the best canopy experience in Costa Rica. I would suggest this tour for those who have never done canopy before and might be nervous. The Park is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is highly trained and they seem to love what... More

We went on this adventure as a family of 12--the youngest just 8 years old and her grandmother of 74 (although she is very active and this may not be a trek for someone who is not able to do some hiking). It was absolutely amazing! Beautiful scenery with interesting wildlife. We swam inside a waterfall that was exhilarating. By... More

Our family toured with Alan and Diego who were both incredibly friendly and helpful. The countryside is beautiful. We visited a gorgeous waterfall, and had a delicious, authentic lunch in a small village. Highly recommend.

On Mon., Dec. 29, my extended family and I started in Jaco and went on a jeep tour through the nearby mountainous rainforest. The trip lasted about six hours. Our group of 12 included my 74-year old Mom and an 8-year old niece. Some of the highlights included swimming under a waterfall, touring the lush agricultural mountains and valleys of... More

Was what we did with Alan & had a fantastic time! We were the first people in a brand new jeep, just the small buggy type big enough for 4 people. There was only 2 of us so my husband got in the front & I was in the back, Alan was a really good driver & constantly checked that... More

We really loved the combination aerial tram and zip-line tour. Our guides were knowledgeable and professional, and their attention to safety was admirable. For those not inclined (see what I did there?) to take the zipline down, you can take the tram back to the base. The zip lines are well-maintained, and the guides were terrific. Some trails between platforms... More

The visit to Rain Forest Adventures was part of a day long adventure booked through Princess Cruise lines. We went on the jungle Crocodile Safari in the Am and then came to the Rain Forest Adventures in the afternoon. When we visited the Rain Forest area we took the Gondola ride - our tour guide talked too much and we... More
