This is a wonderful shop for gifts from Costa Rica and for a great cup of coffee. I got some Nutty Monkey Poop and some Fruity Monkey Poop for presents for kids and some wonderful soaps made in Costa Rica from goat's milk. The jewellery selection is wonderful. The shop owner takes pride in supporting local artists. You can find... More

We bought coffee for our condo in Jaco and loved it. So we returned and bought flory & fressy Café to take home to our family and friends. Good Costa Rican chocolate too. See you next year.

We enjoyed our visit here and the staff was so friendly and helpful I felt compelled to review. We enjoyed all the food we bought here and found the other products to be high-quality. Should have gotten more as we ended up eating everything we intended to bring back as gifts :) Would come back again in a second.

Skip the open air trinket shops. Visit this place and the Tico Pod. Well worth the visit, and you won't find the same stuff that all the other vendors have. Friendly shopkeepers, excellent coffee and off beat goods. Try the pineapple licorice.

This store is the place you want to shop for souvenirs. The items are all local and handmade with a story behind them. The coffee is delicious too along with the sweets they sell. The shop owner speaks English and offers fantastic restaurant recommendations. My six year old son has worn his new favorite "Fruity Monkey Poop" shirt for three... More

I absolutely love this place. I own a small hotel a town over, and send all of our guests over, to grab uniquely Costa Rican keepsakes, and awesome coffee to take home with them. I also stop by daily for a legit cold brew, that nobody else in Costa Rica seems to make. The owner, and the entire staff are... More

If you are looking for something different to remember your trip to Jaco & Costa Rica, you should find it here. Good coffee, which you can try while you are there - Iced coffee is a great way to cool down. Most places for souvenirs do not know the stories or people that make the products they sell. Here they... More

I just got married in Costa Rica in January 2014. Early last year, I started looking for a gift shop to provide stuffings for our wedding gift bags. I came across The Costa Rica Coffee Experience through web searches and, in particular, the rave reviews the store received on TripAdvisor. I decided to order for our wedding (60 guests)--after all,... More

Tico Pod and Costa Rica Coffee Experience are in Jaco. They are on opposite sides of the main street and are about a block apart. Both shops have the normal tourist souvenir type shops near them but the merchandise in Tico Pod and Costa Rica Coffee Experience is far superior. The proprietor (Stewart) only purchases good quality merchandise crafted by... More
