Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfalls is unique in Costa Rica. It is truly a "Visual Masterpiece". The gardens begin with the natural beauty of Costa Rica and four waterfalls in the property with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. To this millions of plants, flowers and orchids from all over the world have been added. Manicured walkways meander long a river and at the crest of the mountain which make the entire 50 acre gardens accessible to all. Have lunch in our restaurant and browse the gift shop that offers authentic Costa Rica gifts.

$20 to just look at a waterfall? You can't even swim there! With so many beautiful and free waterfalls in CR don't waste your time and money coming here.

This is a good place to visit while near Jacó. Entrance was $20 (Jan/2016) and the people around are helpful and agreeable. Is small, not an extensive variety of flora, you can probably walk all the garden in less than an hour. Gardens are pretty but some of the facilities need updates. HIGHLIGHT: the view of Pacific Ocean

Gorgeous vistas out over the ocean and the surrounding hillsides. Well cared for trails, easy walking. Saw a pair of nesting toucans but few other birds and no wildlife.Met the... More

We took the day to drive ourselves to this place. It was great going up a winding dirt road, although a little scary. $20 entry fee, $10 for ages 12 under. We walked to paths, saw the waterfall, great views, macaws!

I really enjoyed the visit to pura vida gardens. Nice garden and nice trails. Some kept up better than others. Good for family visit. Did not see any animals, which was a little dissapointing.

Had a nice lunch here and the owner greeted everyone, nice chap. We also walked some of the trails......first one was to the waterfall......there was also views of the ocean. About half way through the second walk it started raining.....at first light, then heavy rain that lasted about 10 minutes; so we went back to the gift shop. It wasn't... More
