If you want a great view of the Costa Rican transitional rain forest (they will explain what that means), and you do not want to go on an arduous hike or ride ATV's or horses, then this is the place for you. Especially if you are older or incapacitated in some way. Or with a family with young children. We... More

Our guide was very informative. He was the best guide of whole tour. The ride was about 45 minutes. We had lunch at the base of the ride. The toilets were clean. There was also a souvenirs shop at the base.

We went on the Rain Forest Aerial Tram as part of our shore excursion out of Puntarenas Costa Rica when we were on a Panama Canal Cruise. We were taken there by bus, an interesting ride thru the Costa Rican countryside near the Pacific coast. We passed a crocodile hang-out along our way, as well as spotting a Scarlet Macaw... More

The aerial tram ride was fun and our guide was very knowledgable. Saw lots of birds. Safety was very important for the zip line with double harness, double cables, with hardhats and gloves provided. The zip lines were great with short rides and long rides over some stunning forest scenes as well as some stunning ocean views. After the tram... More

We took a cruise excursion from our Celebrity cruise ship through rain forest near Jaco. It was about a 90 minute drive from our cruise port in Puntarenas. This was a fascinating adventure and we have some photos to share. The trip through the rain forest, which lasted about and hour, climbed 800-1000 feet from the ground through and above the... More

We took part in the Tranopy Tour which consisted of a half hour aerial tram ride up the mountain followed by an exciting trip down the 10 zip lines. We found the experience to be fun and worth the cost. The organization is very professionally run, instilling a lot of confidence in the members of our group. The tour starts... More

The time of day worked against us to see much wildlife (11am). Smooth ride up the mountain. Nice and quiet. Israel was our guide and he was fantastic. The walk through the garden was a lot fun too. Butterflies, iguanas, birds and dragonflies. Nice way to spend a couple of hours.

We enjoyed and were thrilled with our Monday morning Tranopy tour. We had a family of four with 2 youngsters that were 9 and 11 years old and the grandparents, my hubby and myself, also went..not just on the tram, but also on the zip lines. I must admit I got a little tired on the last two..not zip lining,... More

We were there at the beginning of the tourist season and Costa Rica summer vacation - early December. We had two guides to ourselves as we rode up on the aerial tram then zip-lined down. The tram was very nice and gave us yet another view of the beautiful forest and wildlife. The zip lining was excellent. Note that there... More

An enjoyable ride above the rainforest and a past a lovely waterfall. It was raining during our tour but we still saw white faced monkeys and a coatimundi. The walk along the trail was informative as our guide pointed out several plants and fruits and we viewed several snakes on exhibit. Nice gift shop.
