Since 1998 Kayak Jaco has been introducing travelers to the joy of getting out on the water of the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The coastline is spectacular and the beaches are pristine. Our sea kayaks, outrigger canoes, stand up paddle boards and sailboat are the best way to enjoy these coastal waters. We don't pollute or disrupt the balance of nature; we just paddle through our small slice of it, not leaving a trace. If you seek "Fun on the Water" Kayak Jaco has the tour for you:• Independent folks love our kayaks• Groups and clubs are fascinated by our unique outrigger canoes• Those who are serious about kicking back adore our sailboat• People looking for exercise can try SUP. Snorkeling is included on these tours (when conditions permit) and it enables you to get even closer to the best that Costa Rica has to offer - it's nature. Since 1998, Kayak Jaco has been running safe, sustainable, enjoyable tours and we strive everyday to ensure that your trip will be a wonderful Costa Rica memory for years to come.

This is was wonderful, fun trip. The paddling took a bit of hard work, but not much, and, working together we, amazingly, made it to the beach. The rest of the time was relaxing. We even discovered some fossils! I'd recommend it.

Marvelous adventure started with toucans in the trees at the property. Walked to playa to get in kayak great guide on two man kayak, lots of Pelicans, frigate birds, Ospreys, jumping fish, puffer fish while snorkeling, starfish, goatfish parrot fish, more than I can name. Great experience, thank you so much for taking me on an adventure into the coastline... More

We had 2 amazing experiences with Jaco Kayak. First was outrigger canoe trip with a group of 14. We had such a great time that 3 of us went out sailing and snorkeling several days later. Owner Neil Kahn is engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgable and a wonderful host. Clearly his decades of experience in the business assured us we would be... More

We (four women) booked a 4- hour afternoon sail with Captain Neil. The weather was perfect, the boat was a great size. You could sit in the shade or lay out on the nets with your feet in the water. Neil took us to a spot so we could snorkel, he pointed out the different types of fish. He made... More

Our family of 5 chartered the Ashuma for 4 hours. Our captain, Neil, was such a fantastic guy! We enjoyed our day so very much and can't thank Neil enough. The sailing, the snorkeling, the sea life, the conversation.... just wonderful! A most memorable experience for us.

Our experience at Kayak Jaco was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Our guide Kenny was very kind and funny and nice. He went out of his way to show us the most beautiful hidden beach. He even cut up fruit for us after taking us snorkeling. Cannot recommend this enough.

Jaco is not known for tranquility and joy yet that is what I experienced with Melanie and Kenny. We did a group kayak and snorkeling trip. I had a single and there were 2 doubles. Our guides ensured we had fun and were safe. Joy at having a good workout. And tranquility while snorkeling and seeing such beauty in the... More

All the staff at Kayak Jaco were super friendly. The kayak was a lot of fun. Neil gave really great tips on how to be a pro at kayaking. He also knew the area very well. It was a nice long kayak to the other side of the beach then snorkeling and kayak back. It was my first time snorkeling... More
