I took the chocolate tour with Paul and it was definitely worth the time and money. After a nice walk up the mountainside and through the forest, we were treated to a view of a lifetime! A level hill overlooking the ocean and jungle below. Just when we didn't think it could get any better, we were taken to the... More

Because this place is owned by real people and not a corporation, you can really sense the passion these guys have for their craft. Paul is constantly improving the process and Jeff and his wife were very gracious in taking us to their tree top platform and doing a tasting party. It is such a neat idea. We also got... More

We had a great time at the Caribeans Coffee & Chocolate. True genuine experience including in depth knowledgeable tour guiding of fruits, forests, reptils and, of course, chocolate and chocolate production. Tasting took place on a beautiful platform with excellent sea view, and included various kinds of chocolates, herbs and a chocolate drink. The entire visit felt personal and caring.

You will not be disappointed by the chocolate and coffee they sell here. We did not do the tour, but stopped in to the coffee tasting room and were able to sample several varieties. One cool thing about the chocolate is that in addition to having different flavors (herb, spices, etc), they also have bars that you can buy based... More

I have to say that I wasn't really sure what we were getting into when my daughter suggested Paul's chocolate tour, but it was a really entertaining and educational afternoon. Do be prepared to hike and dress appropriately as you will climb up to the "farm". Paul's knowledge of cacao and the processing. of chocolate is amazing and his inventions... More

You will never want to eat chocolate again unless its from Costa Rica. Makes chocolate in the states taste like chemicals. I usually don't eat much chocolate but I got a bunch here! Its so yummy. I also love the fact you can order some online. I'll def keep ordering chocolate from them. I'll never eat mass produced chocolate again.... More

When we first came to the Caribbean side, we knew we wanted to do a chocolate tour. We did a little research and found some positive reviews on this tour, and decided to go. Boy am I glad! Paul was our guide and has a real passion for what he does and it shows. I would definately wear hiking shoes... More

I read a lot of positive reviews here on trip advisor about this tour but this was even better than can be desscribed in words. Paul has such a passion not only for the product but more so for the community and what the revilalization of the cocoa crop could do for the area. The tour is really part nature... More

Unfortunately I couldn't do the tour, because I was there on the wrong day. I did a biking tour on the coast and very exhausted, I arrived in the chocolate bar. I just wanted to have a look, then the owner invited me to the free chocolate trying area. I tasted twenty kinds of chocolate and finally bought one. I... More
