did the jungle and beach...got to canter on the beach a lot, didn't get a lot of jungle trails other than just off the beach but it was still nice. Good horses, easy to manage, I'm not a novice but it had been a few years since being on a horse and guide was very good at setting tack appropriately,... More

I would totally recommend this place for any horse rider. You can tell they treat their horses well. Our tour guide, I forget her name right now, begins with an A, from spain, was super nice and friendly! I hadn't rode in five years, and her simple yet effective tips helped me transform from being a little nervous cantering, to... More

We did a sunset ride on Playa Uva and it was so gorgeous. Beautiful experience, good horses and equipment, and nice guide who took lots of pictures for us!

My husband and I had the best time on this tour. We did the day tour that involved the Jaguar Center. So much fun that even though it rained the whole day we still had smiles on our faces and were so happy we did it! (side note, our guides were more than happy to rearrange our tour to hopefully... We really enjoyed our 2.5 hour ride through the jungle and along the beach. Our guide was very well versed on local flora and fauna and was very engaging. The horses seemed to be well cared for and were quite responsive. Total highlight for me!

I'm an experienced rider, and as a lot the reviews only give the opinion of quite novice groups and families, I wanted to say that I had a fantastic ride with Amelie. I emailed Amelia and asked for a slightly more forward going horse which she sorted out for me which was fantastic. I rode out with her and I... More

Riding along a beach, waves crashing around you, sloths in trees above you, a cool fresh coconut drink...how could you not be in heaven. The horses were in good condition, mostly English saddles, no bits. Horses were so- so behavior wise. I had no choice but to canter on the beach when other horses did, one of my daughters wanted... The horses were well cared for and the experience was truly magical. This was the first time on horses for my 2 kids and Amelie took care to select horses that matched their level of comfort. The beach experience was wonderful, made better by the sloth and monkey sightings along the way. It was definitely worth the experience.

My wife and I loved this trip. Amelie did a great job on the tour. Loved getting to gallop down the beach!! Definitely recommend this to anyone in Puerto Viejo. Keep an eye out for sloths too! Swimming with the horses was really cool. We'll be back again for round too! Josh & Jess

I have an extreme passion for horses, I just adore them! However, I am very uneasy about riding horses since I am always unsure whether to know if they are treated properly or not. After the wonderful reviews and surfing around Caribe's website I came to the conclusion that these horses appeared to be well maintained and loved. One thing... More
