This place is very well done. We had a guide take us through all the exhibits and she was very knowledgable and fun. We loved the butterflies. The aerial tram was amazing over the tree tops. Great for all ages. My 84 yr old mom and 13 yr old daughter both loved it. Husband and kid ziplined and said it... More

This is one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen. It is lush and tropical. We took a private tour up to the Veragua rain forest using OkeyDokey Tours (http://nanada.com/tours/index.htm). They were pretty good. The tour guide was cute and told us all about his mother-in-law. The ride up was terrible. It took about 1 1/2 hours and the... More

We exited the ship in Puerto Limon and took a 1 hour bus ride through the neighboring farm lands. The guide was helpful in pointing out local facts of life, and the people although living a hard life, were very friendly. The kids in particular smiled broadly and waved at the passing bus. The land is a verdant tropical paradise.... More

Coach journey, from the port of Limon, was abt 1 ½ hrson their grotty roads . Good exhibition of snakes, butterflies, insects, then aerial tram down through treetops to river for walk to Puma Waterfall. Pleasant views of valley below but we saw very little wildlife and got totally soaked in downpour when we walked down to the falls. This... More

We booked this tour thru our Cruise line-HAL. The bus trip was long over a very narrow road. We stopped several times to view various plants and wildlife but we always seemed to be on the wrong side of the bus. Upon our arrival we immediately left for visits to exhibits of snakes, bugs & butterflies, frogs, etc. and we missed... More

We saw sloths on the way to the park before we got there. Only spiders, bugs and a frog once in the park. The research center was okay. Mounted butterflies and bugs. The 6 snake terrarium was nice. The tram ride was cool with a nice view of the tree tops. The walk through the trails was pleasant but uneventful.... More

There was a lovely vistor center with many exhibits about indiginous animals, insects and reptiles. There was also an aerial tram that took you a short way into the rain forest canopy as well as two short trails that took you into the rainforest. One of the trails included 375 stairs tha led to a gorgeous waterfall. More
