We had such an amazing time at Veragua Rainforest Park, the collection of butterflies and reptiles was outstanding and the aerial lift over the rainforest and the walk to the waterfall is never to be missed. We had an enjoyable lunch and all-in-all a very memorable day.

Very informative. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Many amazing creatures to be seen. We are a couple, but would appeal specially to families with children. Facilities very good.

Excellent centre for viewing the rain forest, butterfly's, frogs, toads and snakes. Well laid out with friendly knowledgable staff, good local food at the cafe and I highly recommend the coffee the gift shop sells. The cable car ride down the is is fantastic and displays the rain forest really close up - do the 350 step walk to the... More

Veragua was such an amazing experience for my family of 10. The park is beautiful and the staff are very nice. Our guide, Agnes, was very knowledgeable and clearly loved her job! A few of us also did the zip lining at the end which was beautiful. A big shout out to the guys who did the ziplining with us:... More

We took a trip through the rainforest, on bus way up into the mountains, through a research station, on an aerial tram through the canopy , on foot to a waterfall and back up through the canopy . The rainforest is an amazing entity and hard to describe in words that do it justice. It teams with life, it’s largely... More

Tourists up port the scientific work of the reserve so worthwhile for that reason alone. The journey from Limon was a couple of hours but interesting as we saw urban life, farming in cleared forest and rainforest. Our guide said enough to keep the interest without being annoying background noise. The reserve is set up foe tourist with board walks,... More

The gondola ride is an excellent way to tour the forest without causing damage to plant life. Very interesting exhibits, especially the frog and butterfly exhibits. Kenneth, our guide, was very knowledgeable answering all questions tossed his way. I am employed at a similar institution, which made the tour that much more enjoyable. I would recommend this excursion.

First time for zip lining and it was a blast! PROS: Staff very friendly and helpful, rain forest is just that a rainy wooded area, it did rain on us and I was amazed at how the forest canopy really did keep you from getting drenched. Did not see any wildlife, in part I believe because the zip line area... More

We only had one day in Costa Rica from our Thomson cruise and what a day to spend it. I knew I would like Costa Rica and I was disappointed, Veragua rainforest is a must. From my experience of Veragua, seeing sloths and the red eyed tree frog I want more and we're going to plan a holiday for next... More
