This tour came with more than I could have imagined !! While we waited for the tour to begin we had the company of a sloth who was a little acrobatic while eating in her swinging chair. Then we got in a boat and was given a tour on a water way where we saw sloths and monkeys living in... More

Enjoy the morning on the Sloth sanctuary, if something negative it very busy, lots of tourists, so feels more commercial... But still great, nice to learn more about the Sloths and knowing that they are helping this amazing animals.

We did the basic tour (Buttercup tour) which starts off with a canoe ride around some of waterways through the sanctuary grounds. We caught the earliest tour so it wasn't very busy and the wildlife was out in force! The boatman was very helpful in pointing out animals we otherwise would have missed and giving us a small amount of... More

Silly, I know - Who goes to Costa Rica just to hang out with sloths? Me! This is my favourite animal and I had to visit this place after seeing the adorable videos of sloths in jammies on YouTube. We had a great time here. Passionate and friendly staff gave us a tour, fed us lunch, gave us tons of... More

We drove far to find this place, but so worth it. Sloths are so fascinating. We stayed overnight and did the Insider tour the next morning. Our guides were wonderful and had a wealth of information.

The staff and owners have a passion for sloths and run a professional sanctuary where the sloths are well cared for with the primary goal of rehabilitation and release back into the wild whenever possible. If they are unable to be released then they are taken well care of for the remainder of their lives at the sanctuary. We did... More

This is a wonderful place with very caring & professional people trying to help such sweet, gentle creatures!
