Take a bus tour to the waterfalls. The highlight for us were the hummingbird feeders and the dozen plus species of hummers that were frequenting them. Bring your camera. There are also bird to be seen in the aviary but the surrounding forest is also home to many interesting species. Plan on eating there too. Crowded but the trails are... More

We loved this the most of all our tours. We all (family of five, kids ages 7-16) loved the butterfly gardens and hummingbirds. The walk through the falls was quite long and lots of stairs, we went right to the end and caught the shuttle back to the front. We were able to see an ox cart and got our... More

These guys spent a lot of money setting this up. It is extremely nice. A bit expensive for locals but tourists should be OK! I've heard the falls are not actually in their property and you have to walk into the neighbors property but that doesn't seem to be a problem at least. But really nice place to come with... More

We got married in front of the "main" waterfall. It was absolutely beautiful. So, yes, I definitely recommend it.

Such a great place to visit: A must if you are in the area! The first part of the trip you get to see lots of animals, many of them rescued. My favorite was the toucan sanctuary area: You get to hold them! It was awesome. I worked up the courage to walk around and get them to hop on... More

Not too many places you can stroll throuh a rain forest on stairs, pavers and occasionally a flat gravel path. Usually rainforest hikes come with backpacks, steep climbs, lots of sweat, etc. Not expecting to take this detour after a beach trip we were pleasantly surprised to find that even the girls in sandals were comfortable strolling through the tour.... I love that this property is trying to help the dwindling animal population in Costa Rica through its rescue programs. This is worth at least an overnight stay to participate in the night frog tour which was amazingly hands-on.

This is a wonderful place to visit and interact with the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. Grown ups and children will be captivated by the experience. Our nine year old is still raving about it to everyone she meets.

Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, Monkeys, snakes, humming birds, frogs, jaguars, orchids, and flowers galore were the beginning of a beautiful day. This park is beautifully done welcoming visitors to open the gift of Costa Rica's beauty. After enjoying the beauty of these creatures and plants, we stopped int the middle of the park for a beautiful buffet lunch featuring the many... More

It was nice to see all the different exhibits. They did a good job with the park. The waterfalls are nice. It was a good walk or climb. If you were not in that good of shape it might be a little bit for you. I loved it!
