These waterfalls are amazing in the rain or the sun. Be prepared to walk stairs, but it is worth every step.

The Waterfall Gardens are wonderful to visit. You can release butterflies, catch your own trout for lunch, watch the big cats at feeding time, feed the hummingbirds and toucans. I love it

The entrance fee is a bit expensive but it is worth the money. You can visit the 5 waterfalls and see a lot of animals in your way. You go downhill from the moment you arrive and there is a bus to pick you back up at the bottom of the valley when you finish your visit. Also, if you... More

Lots of exploring to do and since we stayed at the Peace Lodge, we got to feed the hummingbirds and that was one of the highlights of my trip!

There are no negatives - only positives when reviewing a recent visit to La Paz Waterfall Gardens. I visited with 4 granddaughters aged 5 years to 13 years and they all gave it a "Thumbs Up". We arrived early and stayed late and still wished for more time. La Paz Waterfall Gardens is only a 75 minute scenic drive from... More

From the 5 waterfalls, to the butterflies, lions and orchids, this self-guided walking tour is a great day trip. Having a toucan sit on your arm is amazing. The buffet style restaurant serves both American- style and local flavors. Well worth the visit.

I planned a trip for 9 people- 3 generations for end of August, and was unsure if we should spend the money for the visit , but based on reviews we did it, had the admission and lunch here as our first stop upon landing in Costa Rica on our way to Arenal, and were we ever glad. This was... More

This enchanting place is just an hour away from San José. I consider it very VERY complete in terms of all you can get: rain forest, exotic animals, great service, great lodge, very private, great food, fair prices, excellent location. This last point is quite important coz you can even use this place as a headquarter in order to visit... More

Enjoyed the trails that led to the 3 waterfalls. Very clean, well marked. Very convenient to the Peace Lodge. Gorgeous!
