Warm water, great shelling and you can take a tour through the estuary on a covered boat. We saw crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and many types of birds.

I walk the beach every morning and almost every evening. If you are looking for nice sunsets, this is the beach! You're almost guaranteed an amazing sunset every night. The beach is clean and people watching is great. Like many tourist destinations, you'll find many vendors selling things like Bird Whistles, Clay Pots, Massages, Drugs, Surf Lessons, Tours, Jewellery and... More

Although all oceans and beaches tend to be extremely beautiful. Tamarindo Beach is amazing. Although a bit rocky when the tide is going out, and when it is out, the sounds of the ocean are beautiful. Depending where on the beach you are they take great care of the same, so your not walking on garbage and other items. The... More

The beach was great. Fun surfing for us, and lots of space to build sand castles. There were some great tide pools at low tide as well. We will be back!

We had a great time watching the surfers. There are also lots of good restaurants and shopping to choose from right on the beach.

Its a sand bottom gets deep very gradually so great for kids! The water is clean and clear and in January was the... More

Large beach with plenty of room to spread out with all kinds of service within minutes. Want a massage on the beach, head south five minutes towards Langosta, surfing lessons head north five minutes. Didn't bring anything to drink, wave down a coconut salesman or walk two minutes as there are many of the small stores nearby. Lots of restuarants... More

There are so many things to do on this beach - watch the surfers, enjoy the beautiful views, get a massage or walk and enjoy the scenic view. Our kids loved it, especially the waves in the morning before high tide came in.

It's a great and long beach. Lots of people surf and body surf and just play in the ocean here. There are some rocks in some places, but don't let the rocks scare you away, because there are lots of parts with no rocks.

Great small town with all the creature comforts of home! Large beach, lots of places to eat and drink right on the beach! Stop by witches rock brewery for surfing and brews! Love the people, town and especially the sunsets!
