A great ride with great hosts. The horses were very well behaved. We went as a family and it was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. I would recommend this ranch to anyone who wants a pleasurable ride with beautiful scenery.

I think it is time to thank all of our clients who become our friends and some times neighbors for going the extra mile to find us. My parents, my brother and I went back in January for a horse tour through Casaguas. Everything about it was awesome! The guides were incredible, the horses were extremely well taken care of and well behaved, and Casaguas was able to show us a side of the local Costa Rica that we wouldn't have gotten to see any other way....

Costa Rica is such a wonderful country and we are happy that we can provide our guests with a taste of the real Guanacaste hospitality and orofessional horse tours. That's one of the reasons we like to keep it small and homey, with high quality, well cared for horse, that really reflect the best of Costa Rica's rich horse culture.

Esteban is not only the professional guide, but also the trainer of all our young horses. He has studied English just to improve his guiding and training skills and knows his country's natural and cultural history like few others.

Families and riders of all ages are welcome. We like to give the little ones an Introduction to the Horse, giving them an experience designed for their age group. Of course Mom, Dad and Grandma can learn something too. Started right, you ride for a life time.

We appreciate your comments, they are very helpful to other riders who also care about the treatment and training of horses. Conditions are improving in a lot of riding establishments, but there are still operations that don't demonstrate the noble nature of Guanacaste's horses. Our horses and clients are our priority and our riders appreciate it.

It was quite a day whether riding or watching! Santa Cruz Tope has become one of the biggest in Guanacaste drawing horses from all over Costa Rica. It is always a pleasure to ride with you Kris, we only wish you lived here permanently. You and your horse are beautiful.

Our staff is small, but goes all out to give each rider the attention and encouragement to make their ride personal and enjoyable. We want new riders to have a good experience so they return to the saddle soon.
