My wife and I went 4x4 ing in Costa Rica and it was great. The guide was very knowledgeable on the wildlife and nature thru the entire trail and he could call out the Howler monkeys. It was a bit dusty but I'll bet it's even more fun in the rainy season.

The Jungle Adventures tour is definitley a must do if your in the Tamarindo area. We were picked up from our hotel and treated very well.
