My husband and I took classes here for two weeks - we did semi private tuition so it might be slightly different, but we found the teaching was fantastic. We had Silvia as our teacher and she was warm, fun and engaging from the get go. We learned far more in the first day than we had envisioned, and did... More

Being a Spanish teacher myself, I know how difficult it is to teach a foreign language especially to beginners. I have come two different summers to brush up on my upper level Spanish (I teach Spanish 1) and to meet new friends many of whom I've stayed in touch with and have even been to visit. This school is very... More

We took classes here for two weeks. We both really liked our teachers, and all the people who work in the main office are super helpful. Most importantly, we both improved our Spanish. We met a woman who didn't speak a word of Spanish before she arrived and after five weeks she was conversational. It cost a more than other... More

I had never attended a program like this, so I have nothing to compare it to. I have many good things to say about it. The facility is beautiful, right on the beach. the class rooms have a/c and white boards. The instructors have many activities that are fun and interactive. The other students I met were mostly Europeans working... More

As chaperones for a high school tour to Costa Rica, we took a group of 20 students to Intercultura for a day long Spanish lesson. Unfortunately, as we were only in Samara for a few days, the students weren't super stoked to be spending the day learning Spanish so we only stayed for 1/2 the day. Had I been by... More

I studied here for a week and really wish I could have stayed here at least two more weeks in order to improve my Spanish and experience more of Samara. I really enjoyed my class and my teacher and loved going to class and doing my homework. Being required to speak only Spanish on the school campus was fun and... More

I attended Intercultura for five days, and even in that time was able to learn a lot of new Spanish. My teacher was very good, and the location is unbeatable, right on Samara Beach. I'd reccomend Intecultura to anyone looking to study Spanish in Costa Rica.

Last summer, I decided to take a Spanish immersion program. After doing some research, I decided to enroll in Intercultura for 4 weeks in Samara, Costa Rica. I wasn't sure what to expect before I left, but by the time I was finished I felt completely changed by the whole experience. First of all, if you want to learn Spanish,... More

I went to Coata Rica without knowing any words in Spanish. After my three Months at Intercultura in Samara I can say my Spanish improved a lot. It was a great experience. All the Teachers I had were really friendly and kind. The sizes of the classes were perfect. You really can feel the familiarly atmosphere at the school. The... More
