My son-in-law and I spent a full day with Capt Skeet and crew in pursuit of marlin and sailfish. Conditions weren't ideal and radio reports indicated little success on other boats. Skeet and crew worked hard to locate the baitfish and ultimately we landed a large marlin and three sailfish. The boat and the equipment were maintained in excellent condition.... More

Just got back from sailfishing with Skeet and his crew. Six men caught six sailfish in one full day of fishing. The "Bushwacker" had plenty of room to accommodate our group. I would highly recommend that you ride up top with Skeet so that you may enjoy the beaultiful views of the Pacific and the coastline of Costa Rica. We must... More

The Buschwacker is a great and comfortable boat for the uncertain conditions of the waters off of Costa Rica. And Captain Skeet isn't afraid to run the boat to find the fish. Being an American captain, there's never a language barrier. While our day was considered slower than usual, I did catch my first sailfish which was awesome.

Prior to my first trip to Costa Rica, I emailed about 8 or 9 different charter boats as I have had some bad (and scary) offshore experiences in my life - This happened when I didn't realize how important this research was. I decided to go with Capt. Skeet because he was the one of the most responsive and professional... More

Enjoyed a full day of deep water fishing with Skeet and his crew. Two dads and two teenagers. What a great "once in a lifetime" experience for the kids. They each caught a sailfish....one about 80 lbs, one about 100 lbs. The crew did all the work, we relaxed on the boat's upper deck, enjoyed the few, consumed lots of... More

Raised 3 of 5 sailfish and 1 Blue Marlin. Capt Skeet is a Pro and the Bushwacker is a great boat. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the day. Highly recommend Skeet and the Bushwacker if you visit the Tamarindo area!

We fished with Captain Skeet on Bushwacker St. Patrick's Day. The boat is a tried and true 42' Bertram-- super clean. The wind was howling everywhere north of Tamarindo, so Skeet ran south, got us out of the wind and the whitecapping, and put us on the fish- 6 Pacific sails in one hour span- 6 in 60. All 7... More

We booked a trip with Bushwacker early in January not realizing that there can be a problem with winds at that time of the year. Captain Skeet was very accomodating and shifted our schedule by a day to find the best weather conditions that were available while we were there. Also, we fished further South than where they normally fish... More

We booked a full day of fishing with Skeet and his crew. Even though the water was very rough, we had a fantastic time catching fish. Skeet is amazing and his boat is extremely well maintained. The equipment he uses all great. I will definitely use Skeet again the next time I go fishing in this area.

Booked a whole day off shore fishing with Skeet on the Bushwacker. Skeet is a straight shooter and know his stuff. The boat is well equipped ,comfortable and safe. You may find less expensive options but you won't find a better boat and better Captain to put you on fish Other boat will take you for a boat ride Skeet... More
