When I look for a dive shop I tend to look for a few things: 1) Safety focused diving 2) Small groups divided by skill levels 3) Ability to answer my questions through email I will start off by saying the dive guides did a great job in the safety briefings answering many of my questions even before I had... We booked our dive with our hotel agency. We had to admit that only thing we didn't do research on and turn out bad! They were quick with getting all our gear ready and drove us to beach to get on the boat. Boat is also nice and big and has top deck to chill out. Lead guide and boat... More

Pacific Coast Diving is a professional, well organized outfit. We booked through the Westin and expected exceptional service. They however did not warn us about the poor visibility due to the red tide, and therefore we had an overall poor dive experience. No one can control the tide, but it would be nice to be warned about it before descending!... More

Pacific Coast Dive Center provides beginner courses, refresher courses along with PADI Open Water Diver classes. On my trip, the majority of divers were beginners (without PADI certification) along with some snorkelers. I would not recommend snorkeling for almost everything to see is about 40 ft. under the water. For everyone who are beginners, I would highly recommend taking a... More

While we were in Tamarindo we decided to do some snorkeling and diving. Half of the family ( there were five of us including our 11 yr. granddaughter & 14 yr. grandson) went diving and the other half went snorkeling. We were picked up my a member of Pacific Coast Dive in a nice air-conditioned bus and transported to their... More

We went diving with Pacific Coast Dive Center. It was the first time diving for both of us. We had an hour of training in a pool in Playa Flamingo and then went out to the Catalina Islands. There is a huge emphasis on safety. The guides go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. More

Thank you Pacific Coast for a great day. I went snorkeling and my husband did scuba. We both had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, competent, handled and prepared the equipment for us. My snorkeling guide really knew the area, I got to see tons of fish, including a puffer fish, giant manta ray, and even a sea... More

Went on two dives to Catalina island, we saw everything including sea horses, 3 kinds of rays including manta rays, a turtle, snake, sharks, schools of tuna, dolphins on the boat ride out and more. Staff were great, gear was good, overall it was a great trip. Visibility wasnt great but I would still recommend the trip. More

I had a great time on my scuba trip, but the day was windy so it made for low visibility in the water. I would recommend trying to go on a day when the visibility is good to make the most of the day. The staff was very nice and the boat was larger than I thought it would be.... More

Met one of the dive instructors at our hotel pool (Westin Playa Conchal). She, (Eliana) was giving demonstrations and doing the resort training. It looked interesting so I signed up and LOVED IT! I dove with Javier & Eliana and both were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We went out to two separate rock formation about 40 minutes from shore.... More
