My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The boat is smaller (as mentioned before), but for the 6 of us on this tour, it was plenty for us. The kids (23 through 14) loved every minute of it. They all claimed this was, by far, their favorite excursion ( we went zip lining on Monte Verde, ATV tour, and... More

This was a great trip from start to finish. Because of the low season, we were the only ones that morning on the boat plus the crew of 3. What a treat! Carola, Eric and Emilio are super nice, attentive, knowledgable and genuine. Along with an uplifting playlist, there are plenty of drinks, snacks and great burgers, home made guacamole... More

We were two families of four. As others have said, the boat is smaller and not as shiny as some others, but its size worked perfectly for our group. The kids sat up front in the "trampolines" and had a blast. We caught a fish (unfortunately no tuna for us!) on the way out, which was great fun. The music... More

The afternoon was fantastic, the boat crew was very tentative never let us have an empty cup. Food was simple but delicious. Saw a lot while snorkelling got to hold a blow fish, star fish, and an octopus. The music that played while the sunset was picked perfectly!

My family went on a 4-hour adventure to Honeymoon beach and loved every moment of it. The two owners of Manta Ray are incredibly service oriented, moreso than any other trip/tour we have have experienced in CR. Emilio took us out for snorkeling and dove down to find exotic fish and bring them back up to the surface for my... More

An extended family of seven arranged to sail with Manta Ray as the only passengers on this 37 foot catamaran. The boat is older and smaller than others available in the area, but well maintained. It's a great size for a small group. Captain Matteo and his crew of two were friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The afternoon or sunset... More

The Manta Ray captain and crew were great. We sailed out of Flamingo marina and went to honeymoon beach, catching a black tuna on the way. The beach had a great white sand beach and turquoise water. We saw a ton of fish snorkeling and the guide found us a lobster and puffer fish. Later we hit the beach, found... More

We went on a sunset/snorkeling cruise on the Manta Ray while in Playa Flamingo in January 2014 and we're so happy with the trip that we booked a second trip for the same vacation. Matteo and his crew are outstanding - all were genuinely nice people. The catamaran is 37 feet, but was not overcrowded on either of our trips... More
