We went diving here in March 2015 with Joe as our dive master. My boyfriend's nose started to bleed underwater and his mask was full of blood. He started to choke and panic not knowing where the blood was coming from. Instead of calming him down, helping him clear his mask and regulator, the dive master popped him up to... More

New divers, open water certified in Utah in Dec. 2013. Told Carolyna, the divemaster this, and that my girlfriend had a temporary tooth filling and possibly would not be able to dive. Also warned divemaster that in spite of being very comfortable in the water, I use a lot of air. We were assured that we would go by the... More

For those who don't know this is the dive center attached to the Playa Flamingo Resort & Hotel. We checked out a few different dive centers around and decided to go with this one as it was the most convenient as we were staying at the hotel. First off I guess during the time of year we were there (Feb.)... More

Having just returned from Costa Rica I wanted to post what a great time I had diving with Aquacenter. Professional, attentive, personal, as well as being just a great group of individuals. I did 10 dives last week and each one was great, though I must say 10 sharks, a manta ray, a huge turtle and eagle rays in 1... More

I completed the PADI open water dive certification at Aquacenter, under the excellent tutelage of Risky. His professionalism and expertise provided a valuable learning experience, and although his name suggests otherwise, he took great care of me (especially when I was green with seasickness), and was always safe 😊 Both Risky and Alejandro know the area well, and are able... We spent 4 days diving with Aquacenter and couldn't have been happier with the experience! Risky and Armando were excellent dive masters and brought us to a variety of dive spots near Catalina Islands. They were extremely attentive during the dives and pointed out many fish that we would not have seen. I didn't know what to expect with diving... More

My husband and I signed up for scuba diving from our resort at Flamingo Beach. We met Risky (yes, his name is ironic) when we signed up and he also led our dives the next day. He is a great host and leader. I was a little nervous when entering the water since it had been a few years since... More

I'm certified and my wife is not. I had never been in the open water so we took the resort course. Armando was great. Patient and very nice. Owner picked us up from Tamarindo and after the pool portion went out and saw two beautiful reefs at 30 and 40 feet. Perfect for everyone.

I've been on other dives but Risky helped to make sure that we were FULLY prepared for the experience. Even more importantly, he was very focused on making sure we were shown so many things during the dive that we otherwise would have missed. The educational aspect of the experience plus the great professionalism and incredible dive environment make this... More

My family stayed at Flamingo Beach Resort and my 15 year old daughter had her first diving lesson. Initially she was only planning to take the introductory course but after 1 day with the excellent dive master, Risky, she decided to become fully certified as an open water diver. It took her 3 1/2 days and she had 4 ocean... More
